Simple, waterproof, storage box
I bought this to put in the front porch as we live near a forest and, after taking grandchildren for a walk, need somewhere to put muddy boots. It will take 4 or 5 pairs. It is easily sturdy enough for an adult to use as a seat when taking boots on and off. Also, as it is mud free at the moment, our friendly postman drops parcels in it although, as it cannot be locked, you can decide on that one yourself.A number of reviewers mentioned difficulty in assembling the pieces; it took me less than 60 secs.A couple of other reviews have said it is cheap looking: Okay, it’s a large plastic box made to appear like painted wood but, for the price, it works for me. I have had a couple of visitors remark what a good idea it was and asked where they could get one so it must look okay.

Perfect boxes!!!
Having looked at many options for storage boxes for boots and buckets outside my caravan these items appealed because of their size and flexibility. I bought two and I am SO glad I did! They are extremely well designed, very sturdy, and, contrary to what a previous reviewer said, they are simplicity itself to assemble ... I am in my 70’s, not in the best of health and darn it, I constructed these alone in a couple of minutes per box...... literally!!!

sturdy
a little rough around some of the edges, but all the external edges are fine. relatively easy to construct with no tools needed, just take a little time and use common sense (the instructions are not that intuitive). used to store our walking boots - indoors in the utility room, but may put outdoors in the Spring, so no idea if indeed waterproof

Amazing, discreet storage and seat in neutral, delighted.
Can't praise this item enough. Have a small (lean to) glass porch off my lounge into garden. Needed a storage box for shoes/slippers and outdoor bits and seat for disabled partner to change said items. Main requisite needed to sturdy and blend in as fully visibly from lounge.Behold I give you this strong well designed and tasteful product. Best buy on the market. Highly recommend.

Sturdy garden Box
Great box seat for the garden and looks good too. Love the colour and seems very sturdy although not used yet. It was very easy to assemble, no screws just slot it together. Bought for muddy walking boots but like it so much will have to buy another to store garden cushions. All in all very happy.

The postman only knocks once!!!
Purchased for use as a parcel box for those parcels and packages that can't be posted through the door. The postman thinks it's brilliant, he doesn't have to take anything back and I don't have to go to the sorting office. Good, strong, easy to assemble and completely waterproof. perfect for purpose and highly recommended. Would be suitable for many outside garden storage jobs.

Using as a parcel box.
We bought this seat to use as a parcel box for our front pouch area. It is stylish and practical. The one problem that we have found is that it can't be placed flush against a wall, as the lid has a high lip at the back of it and it can't be lifted up fully without it being away from the wall. This has meant that it sits further into the step to the front door. To make sure it doesn't get water in it when the lid is lifted, we have also lifted the box up at the back, so that rain water doesn't sit in the seat area and fall into the box and wet the parcels etc. Other than these adjustments for our needs, we are extremely happy with our purchase and would highly recommend it.

Muy buena calidad. Volveré a comprar otro, es fuerte y con gran capacidad. El único inconveniente son los portes, bastante caro. He quedado muy satisfecha.

Great for use at the clothesline
The search is over!!I purchased this "seat" to hold my laundry basket, and store necessities at the clothesline. It was easy to put together, and appears to be very sturdy. I am very pleased with this choice!

Would Buy Again
I bought 2 of these storage units a few years ago, 3 years max. I clearly remember putting them together, since my then 3 year old helped me. Each panel was labeled with a letter, so her job was to find the correct letter for me, but it was so easy to put together, that with me stabilizing the pieces for her, she was even able to click them together! However easy it was to put together, these things are STURDY! They have weathered well, even left out in the bitter winter of Wisconsin, they are not air-tight, but everything inside stays dry...including the timothy hay we feed our rabbit!Pros:Very sturdy, I am pushing 200 lbs but can sit on these.Weather resistant- I have yet to find moisture inside except in spring when ice has crept into the nooks and crannies and melted inside. But that is my fault!Still looks nice- no cracks, no obvious fading or cracking or peeling.Very easy to clean- I keep one in my front yard for kids toys and it frequently gets mud or grass clippings on it and usually a simple spray with the hose cleans it right off, sometimes a sponge if something has dried on.Decent Size- Depending on your needs of course. In one unit we keep rabbit supplies, including a large bag of hay, brushes, chewing toys and what not, there is PLENTY of space left in that one. The other holds jump ropes, chalk, sand toys and whatever else the kids need or put in there.Good for Kids- my kids can easily open and close the lids, no fear of smashed fingers. While my now 3 year old twins can quite reach the bottom, the other children can easily retrieve what they need.Cons:Not bug proof- Not that I really thought it would be, however we currently have a problem with earwigs and they seem to really enjoy the dark and safe environment inside. A few spiders now and again, but nothing major.Hinges- On only one of our units the lid doesn't quite line up just right. The kids never get it to close properly, but as long as we close it while pushing a little to the left if does close tight. It's not a major issue for us, but for others it might be. The other is flush and works great.Pain the butt to mow-around- Entirely my fault for putting it in an area where I need to mow around it. lolOver all, I would buy this product again and currently plan on purchasing the 50 gallon bench by Suncast for pool toys. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to store small items in the yard or garage year round.

Versatile and Sturdy but getting that last hinge on can be a humdinger
This is an extremely sturdy storage seat. I was dubious about this, but other customer reviews saying that they were indeed strong convinced me (thanks everyone!). I bought 4 in total to use as storage on my deck and lower patio, extra seating, and as plant stands. I'm not thrilled with the taupe color, thinking they would be white as per the photo, but I bought them with a view to thinking that I might paint them anyway in various bright colors. Lowe's has some good spray paint intended for this kind of plastic which works well. Except for the taupe color, these look really good -- not cheap. Painted and with a nice cushion, it will be a nice addition to my outdoor decor. (Cats and dogs already love curling up on it.) The storage capability is much bigger than I anticipated, too. I can easily get four cushions in there. It can also hold a fair amount of garden hand tools, plant food, etc, which are now more handy than putting them away in the garage every time.As for assembly, it is easy, but there is a trick to getting the last hinge on the seat on to the base. (The right hinge goes on without a problem.) The directions say to keep the lid in the closed position while bending the plastic to push it onto the tab. Well, that is one thick, strong piece of plastic (a good thing) and I had a hard time bending it the amount it needed to be bended to get it onto the tab with the lid closed. So, after I got the right seat hinge on with seat in the closed position, I opened it up and was better able to push the left one onto the tab without too much effort. There was absolutely NO WAY I was going to get that on with the lid in the closed position.
