EVO-STIKGRIPFILL Buff - 350ml - Gap-Filling Adhesive - Bonds Almost Any Surface

Great all-rounder to have. The original gripfill is always a good standby in the workshop and home for lots of jobs. The only single drawback is that it does eventually 'go off' in the tube.

I've tried a lot of cartridge adhesives and find this to be the best balance between performance and value. I used it extensively when fixing up my previous house. It's excellent for mounting skirting board with the result feeling solid once set. The nozzle doesn't detach, so puncturing the seal can be a pain (use a long nail). I read somewhere that you can break the seal by bending the nozzle in the direction of the three arrows embossed on the top - but that ended in disaster :) You're actually supposed press the item you want to stick onto the adhesive, then remove it, wait a bit, then stick it back on. I think this is to activate the chemicals. I don't do this, but haven't had any problems. Sealing the nozzle after use is a pain, as you can't swap in a nozzle with a screw top. But, it lasts a fair while if you can stop air getting to it. It does smell like strong glue, so ventilate the area as best you can. I was tempted to buy a 12-pack of No Nails rather than 2 of these, but this stuff is just way better. Rather do the job right first time than having to re-stick. I recall there's an extra-strong GripFill, which I also tried, but this was adequate for me.

Very good a gluing together, 4 stars is because used it in my kids room and it give a very strong smell of plastic still smelling next day with windows open. Probabl best used outside or have lots of windows open. Not ideal to use in bedrooms when your about to sleep.

I needed this to repair a joint between our living room floor and the conservatory. The builders had bodged it, and seem to have used tile grouting to keep the plastic joining strip in place, which didn't last long.Gripfill seemed designed to do the job of keeping the strip in position and was from a manufacturer I respect. I cleaned all surfaces with 'meths' before starting - probably not necessary. It was easy to apply but do make sure everything is correct before applying the adhesive as it does go off fairly rapidly and does not lend itself to repositioning.It's been in place for a couple of months now and is subject to being walked over every day. It hasn't failed yet and I have no reason to think it will.

Solid and secure

I've used gripfill on and off for many years. I don't know if theses been a change in formula but it skins over now super fast, so if you don't attached the item super instantly, and I mean *instantly* it is skinned over so not very sticky. It also needs more support for overhead items even if lightweight. I won't be using it any more personally.

I have used this product before on my Koi pond and it is brilliant. I have used Gripfill to stick slate together to make my waterfall, which is fish safe once dried. It is very easy to apply and sticks the materials together very quickly. However, depending on the thickness of the glue and the weather conditions, it may take a few hours to fully dry. I use this all the time as I believe it is great value for money.

A cost effective material - do note that is does expand a little after use...so if you are say fixing a broken roof tile, you will end up with a 'bulge' on the surface unless you are careful.
