Easy to use, spray on and repeat and leave to set but then lasts and my trainers have been kept in great condition with no marks since. Waterproofing is great super effective. Smell is quite mild. Has lasted over a year so far no reapplication.

Following the instructions to the letter is a must to get the most out of this product.Very good at waterproofing kit, clothes even suede shoes.Not cheap hence 4 stars, and there are cheaper alternatives to waterproof gear - recommend if budget allows.

The media could not be loaded. After reading some of the negative reviews on here I was a bit wary about buying this as it is pretty expensive compared to rival brands. Anyway I thought I'd give it a go, and was also upsold on the Hog Hair Brush which it turns out is probably essential to get the best results. I followed the instructions to the letter, doing one coat, rubbing it in with the brush and repeating the process a second time on a pair of new Vivobarefoot nubuck leather shoes. I then left the shoes to dry for 24 hours as instructed. You have to be a bit careful applying this as it seems a little goes a long way and it would be easy to use too much and waste lots of it. After 24 hours was up I gave my shoes the 'tap test' in the kitchen sink and the result was amazing! The water just bounces off and leaves the shoes completely dry. Not only does this product work really well it is also a non-toxic eco friendly product.

Was dubious at first but this stuff is fantastic. Use on all my adidas spezial and gazelles and water flies off . You can run under tap to see how good it is . Fantastic buy

I've used this product before and gained incredible results. Maybe not waterproofing but as a protective coating with water resistance, really effective. This time i bought the larger (250 ml) bottle as i had a number of pairs of shoes to do. Unfortunately the cheap trigger mechanism for the spray function stopped working halfway through the process. Very disappointing. So, for the actual effect of the product i'd award 5/5, the function/process/ trigger gets 1/5, all in all 3/5.

The solution itself is pretty good I’m sure but the quality of the bottle is questionable. The trigger used to spray the protection fluid is very light and flimsy. Despite rotating the lock mechanism to allow the trigger to be pulled the plastic hinge cracked when I first used the spray therefore the pump couldn’t be actuated to allow continued use. As a result I had to resort to pushing down on the small pump part of the bottle to release the spray. After 5 or 6 attempts I gave up and reported the fault to Amazon. It’s the only time I’ve provided such feedback on an item bought on Amazon as I feel the matter needs to be addressed. It might be a wonderful product ruined by a malfunctioning bottle! Given the price point, I’d expect better.

So far, after wearing the treated jacket, in a shower, it repelled the moisture.It was easy to apply the treatment.
