Bought for my fridge, to better utilise the space. Requires patience to get the screws in, and correctly adjust the width, but once done - great!

Poor quality item, damaged on arrival with one of the metal grills half broken off. Only 3 screws fit into the threads. Huge gaps at either side in my fridge (when extended to 51cm) only barely useable, can't put anything at the sides or it falls through. I regret this purchase but there were no other real option for my fridge model. This is really not a good solution if your looking for a fridge shelf and your fridge is over 40cm wide internally. No idea why they don't just make a few wider spare shelves as this clearly shouldn't be extended past 40cm.

This product arrived swiftly,and we ordered 2 shelves, one of which arrived without screw fixings that were needed to fix it in the extended position. As there was no clear way to contact seller other than posting whole shelf back to get refund, we bought some screws from local DIY store. The product is good but the actual area that food can stand on is small, its ok if you want to store tall bottles on either side, or in our case a glass shelf placed over the top of wire shelf and works just fine. It is well priced and good quality too, just a shame that we couldn't phone to get 4 screws posted.

As others have commented this is certainly not a perfect product! Extending it does mean gaps at the side which I didn't think would be an issue (as not huge gaps in our case) but they are annoying. The worst thing is that it is NOT easy to put the screws in to fix the width of the shelf. In fact we gave up with 2 of the screws that came with the shelf and found 2 of our own. It's an ok solution for the price but I wouldn't have bought if I could find the right sized shelf for my fridge.

I bought this to replace a glass shelf which had cracked. Screwing it together to fit the fridge was easy. At first I thought the pre-drilled holes were too small for the supplied screws. I was wrong however, as once I started screwing them, they did screw into the holes nice and tight without me needing to make any modifications. I've used this for a couple of months now and there's not been a single problem. Depending on the width of your fridge, there may be a gap on either end as you extend it. There is a gap like this for me but it hasn't really been a problem.

I bought this to replace the original plastic shelf that had finally given up the ghost and broken in half but I am disappointed in the design and quality of the product. While the main part of the shelf is fine, the two adjustable sections are rubbish being much too thinly constructed and the locking screws are self tapping screws which are totally inadequate for the job.

Inherited a fridge freezer with the apartment & spent a couple of weeks being super annoyed at the lack of shelving, so thought I'd give this a try. Yes, because it is adjustable you do get gaps at the sides, but I managed to get them largely even so they're not too bad - somewhere to store big bottomed items like packets of mushrooms rather than a jar of pesto.I know, I should've bought a new fridge freezer if I'm referencing pesto in my reviews, but it turns out I was too stingy. This does the trick but do beware that patience will be required when putting the screws in. I almost had a moment the 15th time I dropped on on the floor, as you try to get through the plastic coating.

Great product, does the job of replacing our cracked and broken plastic shelves. Easy to fit. Would be gap at each side in wider fridges, but in mine was fine. Much cheaper solution than replacement manufacturer versions and more solid!
