Excellent rod and reel
I've used it and caught over 30 fish on my last sea fishing trip. I can certainly recommend getting one as it's very good value.

Not happy.
This item first arrived with the box torn open at the top, rod damaged and the reel completely missing.Complained and ordered a replacement and it arrived approximately 4 maybe 5 days later.Rod looks excellent and now undamaged. Reel looks sturdy and robust. Looking forward to using both.

So far looks good for the money
Decent inshore rod and reel which I have just used for the first time from my kayak. I have seen some negative reviews about the reel, I had no problems inshore with modest weights. Yet to test it with a decent fish! So far looks good for the money.

Nice little rod and reel combo feels good & caught a few bass on it already out boating so very pleased

Not too good.
The rod is fine but the reel fell to bits on first use and when I managed to get it sorted it wouldn't reel in especially as I had a fish on. Lucky the skipper had some spare kit to use. Hopefully they will replace the reel.

Nice combo for occasional use.
Nice rod and reel combo for general boat fishing. Would have bee nice to get a bag for the rod though.

Abu Garcia very cheaply made snapped after second time of use to late to send it back

It works
Its cheap so you get what you pay for, fine for a started down-tiding, the rod has plenty of flex and is finished well, the reel looks the part but the innards arn't that robust. It will work well for the occasional boat trip, if your out on the sea often spend a little more
