MB20 - Now SHOWing in your living room!
On opening the collectible box,you know you are in for something a little special. A look at the lengthy playlist confirms most of the bands best songs are present on one disc, with a second disc featuring multi angle versions of bright lights and soul, as well as an entertaining documentary.Having seen Rob & the guys in fantastic form in Birmingham last September,I was really looking forward to a full concert captured on dvd. WOW. It was even better than I expected with great picture & sound adding to what is a superb showcase of this bands raw talent. All the energy and Robs charismatic stage presence comes across really well, together with a terrific audience packed venue & great lighting efects giving a thoroughly enjoyable viewing experience.Highlights? Difficult, because all the songs are excellent. An acoustic version of 'if your gone' with Rob & Kyle Cook on guitar along with 'bright lights', 'unwell' & 'hand me down' show the bands ability to create thought provoking ballads with great guitar work, whilst the rockier 'disease', 'feel' & classics '3AM' & 'real world' are all terrific on stage. If you are already a fan or simply want an introduction to this truly great band, this will be one purchase you will not regret. Worth much more than its asking price. Highly recommended. This will entertain you many times in the wait for the next album.

Awesome band, terrible sound
I love Matchbox Twenty and have been blown away by their live performances on several occasions, which is why I bought this DVD with great excitement to be able to relive those experiences. However I find it totally unwatchable due to the excessive crowd noise throughout. I don't know if it has been added artificially after as one reviewer has suggested, but it overpowers the sound of the music. I watched this DVD through once as soon as it arrived and the screaming etc didn't bother me too much, but the next time I put it on, to listen to Rob's amazing voice while I was doing things around the house, I had to turn it off because the constant background noise was really grating on me.That was years ago and I've just seen the DVD in my collection and thought I'd like to listen to it, but I didn't get beyond the first song before I couldn't stand it any longer.I imagine it's maybe been made like that to discourage people from ripping the tracks, surely it can't have been made that badly by accident??Such a shame because the band really are amazing live and I would go to watch them again any day and continue to buy their music etc, but this DVD won't be going near my player again. There are plenty of good live videos on YouTube for when I need a fix of live mb20. Anyone who likes them should search for a live video of Bright Lights - not a song that I liked initially, but live it just knocked my socks off.

Excellent stuff by M20.....
Excellent.....As a long time 'Matchbox' I thought I'd give myself a little treat!Bought it used for well under a £1!!!!!As others have said the crowd noise is a little on the loud side, but not really a problem for me, Just makes me wonder if people that write this stuff have ever been to a concert!!Loved it from start to finish, however there was a little glitch on track 17 Downfall as the whole sound went very quiet for a good 20/25 seconds. But for the money I'm not complaining!!

An excellent DVD from an excellent band!
This really is a great DVD of a great concert from a great band. The picture quality is outstanding and, unlike a couple of other reviews, I noticed nothing wrong with the sound quality.I saw matchbox twenty at Wembley last Spetember and this DVD really captures the amazing energy that the band exert on stage. As usual, all the songs are played to an extremely high standard and you just get the impression that the band simply love doing what they do.The second disk is a bonus, especially for this price. The documentary really gets behind the scenes of the "matchbox twenty travelling circus" and is a decent length. Seriously, this DVD is brilliant. Buy it!

Not worth it
I'm a big fan of Matchbox Twenty and was really anxious on getting this DVD. The images are great but the sound is horrible.I have quite a few dvds and blu rays of live concerts and I can assure you that this one has the worst sound ever. I don't understand how a band this big can have "interns" responsible for their DVD production.During the whole concert, there are screams of the crowd that were fakely added. I mean, during parts of the song that would not make any sense having those screaming. The main reason I buy live concerts is to have a really nice sound experience and be able to fully use my home theater system but this dvd fails on that.

WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN!
Excellent incite into the genius world of a totally underrated talented band. It's a totally different perspective of the band to the 'Storytellers' produced a couple of years ago but still at the same quality. Excellent if you like watching how the tour was put together with entertaining footage of the guys backstage. A total must for any M20 fan whether you've seen them live or not!
