Bought it to clean up some rust on some tools which were spotted with rust.IT certainly works, but it does take some time to do so and a fair bit of effort.Would i buy it again......Hmmm.... difficult question. For those delecate things where you dont want anything thats too corrosive then its ok. Eg: removing small scale rusting on a planer-thicknesser. But, anything meatier and i wouldnt use it.

Some light rust on my gate - this product was totally ineffective, despite lavish use and repeat coats. just use a wire brush, metal file and sandpaper if you can.

Bought to clean up frame of galvanised foul drain cover which had rusted badly into layers. Take care removing the lid keeping the carton upright:there is no secondary sealing layer. Following instructions managed to get back to bare metal in some places (after removing loose rust) with two applications and sufficient to apply 'direct to rust' paint in the rest. Useful volume for my purposes. Good consistency (thick enough to adhere without slumping but fluid enough to get into all cracks and crevices). Very few 'acid' fumes in use. Easy to clear product off brushes etc.I have plenty left over for any further jobs and would certainly buy again.
