I'm fairly certain this saved my pug's life. She had only a bottom gash and I suspect the aggressor had a puncture wound in the mouth where the top wound would have been on my girl. After the incident and 7 stitches one of the spikes is a little bent and has some knicks out of it. The spikes may be metal colored but they are incredibly sturdy. I do not feel like the spikes need to be replaced as they remain strong. It's adorable, but very functional.

This is ingenious, you can adjust spikes and size. Cat doesn’t seem to be bothered. Just a bit of human insurance when play is rough.

We have a long haired Chihuahua that weighs just under 10 pounds. This collar was well made, strong and thick and fit out little fur baby perfectly and it's appearance would make any dog think twice about trying to bite our little baby.

It works perfectly on my dog, it is very useful for coyotes and even big dogs, my dog is old and this help us keeping him safe !

We often see coyotes on our night walks, and despite my dog being 35lbs, they sometimes follow us all the way home. So, I got this as an extra insurance policy. I even put it on the dog whe we use the yard in the middle of the night/early morning. The spikes are plastic painted silver, and with use, the paint comes off 👎🏼, and it was a nuisance to remove the spikes--each are on individual velcro bands--to initially adjust the webbing to make the collar fit our dog's neck, but after that, it's been smooth sailing👍🏼👍🏼. I'm really glad I got this and sometimes debate getting a second one.

I bought 2 of these for my 10 lb Yorkie . We have a Border Doodle that plays really rough and likes to grab the Yorkie by her neck . We started noticing some scabs on her neck from the hair pulling or pinching . We started off by putting both collars on the Yorkie and it immediately stopped the larger dog from grabbing her by the neck . Now we only use a single collar since the larger dog is settling down a little . We remove the collar in the evening when its couch time because the collars poke our arms when the little one wants lap time .
