I was looking for something in between the most basic locks available (as my last cycle was nicked when the thief managed to break it) and the extravagantly expensive and prohibitively heavy locks which are a real curse to carry around. This looked like the compromise as it's evidently well made and sufficient to deter all but the most determined thiefs - my cycle doesn't come into the category of very expensive anyhow. Recommended.

After someone stole my previous bike, I bought a new bike and this lock. And Is still there. In the building I am in, I know that they tried to rob more bikes but my bike is still there. I am either lucky, or my bike is ugly AF or the lock is really good.

I was looking for a cheap bike lock but that would still be safe and secure. This did the trick and it's much cheaper than other bike locks, about half the usual price, without sacrificing security.

I have not yet used the lock but I don't think it's security is questionable. This thing is sturdy, solid and heavy! Only reason for 4star was mine arrived in this condition (used). I was refunded a small amount by Amazon which keeps me happy as it's going to get battered and bruised anyway.

I like this D Lock, it's heavy but does a decent job of securing my bike in the bike shed at work. The D lock secures the frame and the back wheel to the bike stand and the cable secures the front wheel.

Such a great bike lock, have had for about half a year now - its sturdy, not too heavy and robust. However, it is now falling apart with the plastic cover on one side broken and one of the sides is movable even when locked which questions whether it is still safe to use to keep the bike safe. Such a shame...
