Q: It is unclear to me if this can support 2 4k monitors and if so, will both run at 60hz?

Yes, the KVM will definitely support two 4K monitors. Only one of my machines is able to drive both of my monitors at 60 Hz refresh rate. One can drive one monitor at 60 and one at 30 Hz. The client laptops can manage 30 Hz on both monitors at the same time. The limitation is in my video hardware, not in the KVM or the monitors.

Q: Does this kvm have edid? will the windows on my computer remember where they were as i switch between computers?

Yes, mine does both EDID and also maintains window position as the KVM switches between machines. When each machine powers up and connects to video, it sets the correct resolution (3840 by 2160). When I place a window in the middle of the right monitor (landscape) and another window full screen on the left monitor (portrait), switch to another computer and then return both of the windows will be on the correct monitor, with the correct orientation, in the correct position.

Q: Do these hold or exchange network data?

No, there is NO network ports so capturing is not possible

Q: One kvm seller said that his kvm takes 30 sec for a switch to complete. how long does it take your kvm switch to complete?

Depends if you're switching a mac or PC. Switching top PC is usually 2-3 seconds. Switching to Mac is like 10-30 seconds. This is a Mac problem and occurs with all KVMs
