Samsung S View Cover Case for Galaxy Alpha - Black

Beautiful good quality case. Having read previous reviews, I was a bit concerned as some warned about fake versions. I think a lot of different cases for different model phones have been reviewed here and these warnings might not go for all cases. The case I review here is the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 S-view case in gold. It is quite clearly a genuine product, with model & brand marked on both sides of the case. The back part fits perfectly in the back of the phone (replaces the existing battery cover) and holds the case perfectly in place. The material feels really nice and soft and has a lovely sheen to it. I would say the colour is pinkish gold - I think it looks great and smart, but it may be a bit girly for some. I actually wanted the gold version of the phone, but as it was about £60 more than the black version, I bought the black version. This case pretty much solves that problem for me. I was also pleasantly surprised by how well the front flip cover stays put on the screen. What others have said is true: the case does not have, and would benefit from, a magnet to hold it shut. However, I find with a light press on the front of the cover when closing it, it kind of sucks to the screen and stays there fine. The material is very supple, so the front cover folds away easily to the back when using the phone. I personally take care when placing it in a bag to wedge it in between flat things/a pocket, if you don't do that, it's possible that the case would flip open again with potential to scratch the screen. So if you prefer to be a bit rough or careless with your stuff, this case might not suit you. I think it's great how the phone responds to opening/closing the front cover by displaying the time & some info (you can customise this in the phone settings) and when you flip it open, it launches the default 'wake-up' screen as it would if you pressed the side button. I love this great quality case and I like how it protects the screen from scratching without needing a stick-on screen protector which I always think takes away some of the beauty of the super amoled screen. I personally don't have/use the cordless charging device, so I don't know whether that works with this case but I have found the battery to be more than good enough to last through a full day, so I just charge the phone via cord at night.

Whilst this is billed as an s-view case, it does not trigger the s-view window as there is no magnetic catch which is necessary for the phone to know to switch on s-view. Whilst it is branded as a Samsung product, I am disappointed by the serious lack of quality control: the missing magnet, the materials used to make the cover are clean and neat, but they feel cheap - and the hard plastic corner grips break very easily, meaning that one drop and the case is useless.

Good quality real leather black case for the Samsung Galaxy S5. It is very easy to fit and looks smart. This was my second case. The first one lasted several years, so I consider this to be durable. My original was starting to look a bit tatty and the leather on the spine de-laminating after being open and closed many times. The case offers good protection for most of the phone, except around the edges of 3 sides.

Had this case for over 8 months now and it still looks brand new. I use the spigen magnetic lock to keep the case closed. This is the best case I've bought for my phone and I've not bought another one since which is very unusual for me as I like to change cases often.As far as I am aware this IS a GENUINE SAMSUNG product and well packaged as such too!!I'm on my phone nearly all the time playing games, etc. and there is not one sign of any wear or tear to either bit of my case which is very robust and sturdy. The back snaps on and off easily with no problem. I love the protection and peace of mind it gives me knowing my phone is safe if I drop or bang it, which I do a lot! I bought this cover for the easy viewing window which makes it 100% better than a normal flip case. (The window is easily wiped if dirty or full of prints so it's not a problem at all.)

Edit: don't waste your money. The cover frays and falls apart with any real use. I recommend the Spigen hard armor version of this. Same thing but it's actually doing the job I wanted it to do without breaking constantly.Right...1. It's impossible to keep the screen clean.2. The screen makes the ALREADY BAD camera worse. Seriously - this camera is TERRIBLE.3. I've had it a week and the edges are already frayed4. It obviously offers no protection other than scratch.5. You know that annoying thing where the phone explodes when you drop it? Yeah it still does that.I think I'll give it another few weeks before I sell mine on eBay and grab a silicone case. It's not easy to grip and it doesn't bounce when you drop it. I need something more robust, I think.

Bought this for my Samsung S6. Great case albeit I am not 100% convinced this is a genuine Samsung S-view case. Why? Well, it split on the seam slightly after about a months use which I was not expecting. The splits are very very small, but none the less, I was not expecting this to happen. I am still using the case and will do so until it gets worse. I would have second thoughts about a second order. I normally buy direct from Samsung. For the price though, I would recommend it.

I really really liked it and if you are one of those people that likes the phone protected front and back (but not top and bottom or On one side) then this will slide very neatly in and out of your pockets.Doesn't add a lot of bulk to the phone and it's okay at what it Does.I found I took it off the phone though because the flap kept getting on my nerves, and you look like a plonker when you use the phone and the flap is flapping about or folded backwards onto the case (which incidentally makes the inside of it dirty which then makes your screen dirty!)It's a good idea but only if you are sure you like this concept, I tried it and discovered I didn't, if you are okay with the extra bits of case then this is a good price and functions exactly as it should.

Ho comprato questa custodia quasi 6 anni fa per il mio galaxy ALPHA (che ormai non ho più) e si è rivelata davvero fantastica! Nonostante il prezzo sia davvero molto basso rispetto il sito samsung, vi posso assicurare che la pellicola è originale. Per "applicarla" bisogna rimuovere il vano della batteria e collegare direttamente la cover sul retro. Nella parte posteriore la cover presenta dei contatti che permettono l'accensione automatica dello scheermo quando viene aperta la cover e usare le shourtcouts che appaiono attraverso il piccolo vetro posto nella parte frontale. Comprata color oro.... fantastica

Ottimo prodotto, cover originale e ad un prezzo stracciato acquistata su amazon ad un prezzo inferiore rispetto ad altri negozi, il design in simil pelle è davvero piacevole soprattutto perche' da un ottimo grip e sensazione di presa salda e non come molte altre cover che danno un effetto saponetta, il display touch esterno è cio che rende questa cover ancora piu apprezzabile grazie alla quale si puo' oltre a rispondere al telefono, avviare la fotocamera e scattare foto ma anche leggere notifiche e messaggi, la parte posteriore rispetto a dove si va ad agganciare il telefono è rialzata di qualche millimetro e anche questo da una sensazione di protezione in piu' esperienza con questo articolo molto positiva, per questo mi sento di consigliarla a tutte quelle persone che sono alla ricerca di una cover per il proprio smartphone avendo la qualita' di un marchio mondiale acquistata ad un prezzo stracciato su amazon , spedizione sempre al top ricevuta nel giro di tre giorni

Que decir de esta funda esta genial y el precio aun mas. Mi mujer ha usado la azul y le ha durado 2 años. Hemos decidido cambiarla por esta blanca por cambiar un poco el aspecto del movil ya que la anterior no se ha deteriorado apenas. El sistema quick window va de lujo ya que permite responder a las llamadas sin tener que abrir la funda del telefono como pasa con algunas de peor calidad.

Ero molto diffidente per alcuni giudizi pessimi sulla tenuta degli angolari in plastica....e invece:la cover, a parte di essere bellissima, a parte di essere confezionata con tante pellicole trasparenti adesive per proteggere le zone più delicate, a parte la correttezza del venditore nel rispondere subito alle mail, a parte tutto questo ed altro, la cover si è agganciata al cellulare dopo una energica pressione, senza che nessuno dei quattro angoli di trattenuta (in plastica trasparente) manifestassero segni di forzatura o si frantumassero o si lesionassero, cosa che temevo viste le mie passate esperienze con altre cover.Grazie

Lo más importante es el valor añadido que proporciona esta funda, y que viene a ser:- La funda es parte de la carcasa del teléfono por lo que funda + teléfono tienen menos grosor que con el resto de fundas.- Es una funda inteligente, esto no solo quiere decir que se encienda y bloquee cuando lo abres y cierras. Además reconoce que es la funda de Samsung y tiene menús adaptados a la ventana de la tapa. de esta manera puedes contestar llamadas y ver notificaciones u otras tareas sin abrir la tapa..- La calidad es bastante buena.

Aggiornamento: è il quarto acquisto. Ho scelto il bianco perlato, rispetto al classico nero. Come ho già scritto per la versione "wallet" (senza finestra) il bianco, pur essendo bellissimo a vedersi, si sporca con estrema facilità (o meglio lo sporco è più visibile). Se si trova a buon prezzo (pagato 4.90€) è un ottimo affare, considerando il suddetto "contro". Resta comunque comoda nell'uso. Nonostante l'aggiornamento a Marshmallow le funzionalità della S-View non sono cambiate rispetto a Lollipop.Acquistato colori: nero, rosa e bianco.Recensione (colore rosa perlato...le funzioni sono uguali per tutti i colori)Classica s view cover per S5..all'interno della stessa troviamo il chip per comunicare col sistema (fondamentale per essere riconosciuta dal sistema) e le classiche guarnizioni per l'impermeabilizzazione da liquidi e polvere. Avendone avute già tre prima di questa, posso dire che è normale se i primi tempi resti un po' aperta o che si chiuda da sola. Essendo nuova e con quella forma data dal costruttore ci vorrà un po' di tempo affinché il materiale diventi un po' più flessibile. La possibilità data dalla finestra è quella di rispondere alle chiamate direttamente senza aprire la cover, visualizzare SMS (lettura), vedere le notifiche (solo quelle) delle altre applicazioni, visualizzare contapassi e meteo, possibilità di cambiare sfondo finestra, controllare il lettore multimediale e, più importante di tutte, scattare foto in 4/3. Il colore rosa é proprio come in foto, da il meglio di sé stesso in condizioni di luce solare, esaltando il perlato.In definitiva consiglio la cover al mondo femminile, la trovreranno fashion e comoda allo stesso tempo.

E originale quindi si adatta perfettamente al mio s5.la precedente mi è durata 2 anni ed ha protetto perfettamente lo smartphone meglio di tante altre cover e pellicole in giro.La svieu permette di utilizzare alcune funzioni senza dover aprire la copertina come fare foto chiamare e rispondere comandare il lettore musicale.Se ancora possedete il Samsung s5 (telefono super!)ve la consiglio assolutamente.Ripeto l'altra cover e durata 2 anni poi si era consumata in alcuni punti per questo l'ho sostituita ma ha protetto egregiamente il mio telefono

Sono soddisfattissima del mio acquisto, ragion per cui ho deciso di scrivere subito una recensione su questa cover.IMBALLAGGIO: ottimo, custodita all'interno di una scatola in cartone e ancora in una bustina di plastica... tutto ben sigillato.SPEDIZIONE: arrivato dopo due giorni dall'inoltro dell'ordine (ho acquistato il cellulare lunedì 1 giugno e in quel giorno ho effettuato l'ordine su Amazon, mi è arrivata il 4 pomeriggio, il 2 giugno era festa).ESTETICA: estremamente stupenda, ottima nei materiali e finiture, ottima presa e chiusura fra i due sportellini.FUNZIONALITÀ: direi molto buona perché si ricevono telefonate, si scattano foto, si ricevono notifiche e si cambia sfondo senza necessità di aprire la cover.DUBBI: non ne avrete. Io, non avendo mai visto o acquistato questo tipo di foderato, avevo dei dubbi sulla resistenza del cellulare rispetto alla calamita che lo sostiene. ... direi eccellente ed è facile da "montare" (lo fate in 5 secondi).Il mio consiglio? Non avete dubbi e non esitate all'acquisto. Die Hülle ist echt toll. War erst skeptisch, da sie ein Fenster auf der Vorderseite hat, aber es funktioniert hervorragend und man hat sich schnell daran gewöhnt. Jetzt bin ich froh die Hülle mit dem Fenster genommen zu haben, da es super praktisch für Funktionen wie Fotografieren ist ohne das man die Hülle direkt aufklappen muss.Was ich auch sehr toll finde ist die direkte Verbindung mit der Handyrückseite, in welche die Hülle eingeklinkt wird. Dadurch ist das Handy mit Hülle schön schmal.

Dopo due anni si è usurata e l'ho ricomprata perché oltre all'estetica si riesce a sfruttare la funzionalità s view molto comoda . La custodia non si è mai staccata e togliendola l'adesivo non lascia tracce. La nuova cover è identica a quella che avevo ma ad un prezzo eccezionale. Ho un altra cover nera che si è usurata meno rispetto a quella bianca. Potrebbe essere anche l'utilizzo ma se non avete particolari gusti vi consiglio il nero che nasconde i segni del tempo.

Ist als Hülle für Ersatzgerät im Einsatz und befindet sich bei mir überwiegend im Auto.Bildschirm des Gerät geht sofort an bei Aufklappen, kann durch das Sichtfenster auch Primärfunktionen bedienen.Stabil ist das Ding auch noch (schon paarmal ist mir mein Handy auf den Boden gefallen - keine Beschädigungen, keine Kratzer, schützt das Gerät sehr gut. Deswegen habe ich auch mein anderes Handy in so einer Hülle, das Tablet sowiso!

Aggiornamento Settembre 2018, dopo quasi un anno devo dire che rimane accostata al cellulare come lo era quella di prima, pero' c'e' voluto tanto prima di vederla calzare bee. Tutto sommato visto che si sta comportando molto bene alzo il voto a 5.-------------Novembre 2017 - Rispetto alla gemella comprata ad altro prezzo, questa sembra pero' gemella... ed originale, questa anche dopo un mese di utilizzo tende ad aprirsi da sola... rimane un po' aperta peccato credevo che dopo un po' di utilizzi si modellasse e rimanesse ben aderente al display da chiusa come la precedente.

Il motivo delle recensioni contrastanti è perché amazon mischia insieme diversi prodotti solo all'apparenza simili! La custodia da me comprata(18€) è originali con scritte incise e non stampate inoltre è dotata dei connettori! Non mi capacito di come si mischi tutto, la "stessa" custodia è venduta a 45€ poi 18€ poi 9€, io ho avuto difficoltà a capire la differenza, ho provato e fortunatamente è andata bene. Buona fortuna.Aggiornamento: a distanza di qualche mese ho comprato una nuova cover di colore turchese allo stesso prezzo, per non sbagliare ho acquistato dallo stesso venditore "handingo" e spedizione amazon, anche questa volta ho beccato la cover originale, cambia solo il colore, per cui se amazon distinguesse le recensioni anche in funzione del venditore farebbe un ottimo servizio a chi vende e soprattutto a chi acquista!

Cover valida.Rispetto alle precedenti ora sono prodotte in tessuto e sono più belle ed eleganti.La nota negativa sulle precedenti vale anche per questa ovvero critico la fragilità degli angoli i quali tendono a spaccarsi dopo le cadute e critico il fatto che si consumino troppo presto le parti che si piegano.La finestrella funzione bene per il toch screen e permette di fare foto e rispondere senza aprire il cell.La finestrella tende a perdere la trasparenza e si riga facilmente.
