Super easy setup
Want to setup ur tent in under 30 secs? Me too so I bought this and it definitely delivered. Simple quick setup and very comfortable. Also works great on a warmer camping trip cause both ends open up for ventilation

Bad tent in rain
I really wanted to like the Kamp-Rite Cot Tent, but unfortunately, it completely failed me when I needed it most. Despite being advertised as weather-resistant, it offered almost no protection from the rain. During a recent trip, it rained overnight, and I basically ended up sleeping in a pool of water. All of my gear inside the tent got soaked, including my bedding, clothes, and electronics. This isn’t just a minor leak — water pooled inside the tent, making it unusable for any kind of wet-weather camping. For a product at this price point, I expected at least basic waterproofing or better rain protection. Sadly, this was a huge disappointment and left me scrambling to salvage my trip. I cannot recommend this tent to anyone who might face rain during their outdoor adventures.

Not water proof
Water RESISTANT not water proof. If your camping somewhere that gets more than a half inch of rain at a time get a tarp too.

No instructions, stitching popped and came apart at Velcro straps.
No instructions, stitching popped and came apart at Velcro straps. Buy a different one of these is my advice.

Kept me from going INSANE.
11/10. Solid. Buy this. Easy setup, transport, clean. This thing literally kept me saying from going nuts when we were training.

Great Idea, but poor implementation.
I have used this tent on three occasions now, with one time in the rain. It is the single person, "Economy" version I think. Certainly was the least expensive. The Tentcot is indeed easy to set up, though you do need to fight with the straps a little to clip them to the legs to secure the ends. Not an issue for more limber people. It is considerably lighter than I expected, and was easy to transport on a bikepacking trip I took. It is a bit large\bulky, but the included bag was a great addition and helped me alot. The Tentcot is *not* waterproof. At all. Even if you waterproof it, it will leak due to how the zippers are designed. You will need a rainfly or some other method to keep water off the tent. I suspected this before I got the cot, but the zippers surprised me.The worst problem for me was discomfort. The center where your hips are is lower than your head and feet. I am five feet eleven inches tall and 260 pounds, so maybe I "sag" a little more than most, but I did try adding some folded blankets the center to raise things to a more level setup with no success. Sleep was nearly impossible, and sore back and sides were inevitable. It felt a bit cramped inside, and I could not sit up fully without bending my head down with my chin to my chest. Shorter people will obviously not have this issue. I also had problem getting to an upright position due to not really having anything to hold on to for leverage, but that is likely my problem, not the tent's.The tent was shipped and arrived quickly and was exactly what the description stated. It was packaged well enough for shipping and was undamaged.Overall? I have to give two stars, mostly due to the painful, uneven sleeping experience. Everything else can be compensated for with a little thinking\preparation. I was looking for a lighter, easier to use Tentcot to replace my original one (Also a Kamp rite) that works wells, but is much heavier and takes longer to setup\stow away. I am past my return date, and I wouldn't have returned it after using it anyway. I will be selling\donating this tent to someone who might have less troubles with it than I did.I am not disappointed with Kamp Rite as a company, just this specific product.
