Really like this book.I have just bought it because my daughter has been struggling with her writing.I'm hoping this will help with her spelling and give her some ideas when she is writing stories.The first 350 pages are a dictionary which is well laid out. Certain words are explained in more detail with lots of beautiful illustrations.At the end is the thesaurus. It explains a some simple grammar e.g. suffixes, pronouns and prepositions with examples.Then lots of words with synonyms.Very well laid out with the words not in alphabetical order but by certain topics. E.g. pirates, cavemen bird sounds, travel words etc.At the end of the thesaurus there is an index if you are looking for a specific word.

Bought this for my 7yr old granddaughter. She loves it. It’s very comprehensive and well illustrated. Easy to read word explanations. Would recommend.

I bought this for my 8 year old a month or so into lockdown. She loves it and it helps with her schoolwork.

We had to buy a dictionary for the school and this was very well done. I bought a second one to keep at home for reference. Pages are well presented with nice illustrations. Kids find it a fun learning tool.

Fabulous book for my 7 year old Nephew. He loves reading about various facts in it. I'm so pleased I bought this as it will definitely help him with his spelling, and him and his mum with definitions!!

My 6 yo nephew is always asking “what does that mean?” So now I say to him “look it up!” Although I still have to spell the word for him. Good illustrations

This is really useful for my 9 year old that has a few problems with spelling and grammar.
