Reisser 8200S220400404 Cutter Screw, Yellow

I love Reisser Cutter screws. Timber is expensive (either in money terms or time if reclaimed) so I never scrimp on my screws. These tend not to split or damage the wood (although it's always good practice to use pilot holes if near the edge of timber etc etc). They have good weather/chemical protection (yellow passivated) so can be used outdoors. I find they are regularly cheaper than similar products from competitors if you are careful enough to shop around for the best price.

Have used these in multiple applications since purchase and although it still doesn't hurt to drill a pilot hole for some materials, you don't have to as these screws will bite and purchase with light pressure. This wont stop your material splitting if it is thin or near the end though so drill as required in these areas.Good quality, good sized box and good price.

I was recommended to get these by a professional for DIY work. They are incredibly easy to use by being self-starting and having a smaller diameter core which prevents splitting and reduces friction.

No matter what size I get in these screws they continue to impress.Lasting well in damp environments and countersink themselves well.

Used these to make some speakers . Needed the head to be countersunk in the mdf so thought these would fit the bill. The little grooves in the head really help the screws bite into the wood and saved me lots of time.

Great screws as always, they dont need pilot holes and wont split the wood, I always buy Reisser.

Excellent item really good for outdoor use

I was after reisser 5.0 50mm as it states on the box in the picture and as I searched for they arrived and they are 4.0 40mm.
