Coghlans Pack Grill

I had to buy this because it is just so useful. Perfect for the wild camper or trekker as it folds flat & just slips into your pack. The grill size works well over a real camp fire or an alcohol burner. Robust, made for the job and you don't notice the weight.

I only gave this 4 stars but this is higher than the average of weight, sturdiness and price. This rack is invaluable if you are cooking whilst camping. It allows for two pans and can be easily moved it to hotter or cooler parts of your fire. It has warped a bit on first use but it has not compromised the integrity and I expected that.

Used it quote a few times and had no issues Light weight, good size, ideal for wild camping.

Was surprised by this grill, very light weight but strong and was able to hold two large pans. The height is perfect for camp fires.Does not come with a bag so you need to find something to put the grill in when you are travelling

Bought this to replace a Griiliput grill which is far to heavy for what it does.This is a good size and light ,the only problem being a lot of sharp edges,if the outside frame was one piece bent round instead of two bars this would improve it a lot,but it does the job and is sturdy enough,just could be better.

Lovely item - strong enough to be useful, yet small and light enough for my backpack! Dropped one star as the edges are quite sharp and scratchy when sliding into a pack, Would be nice if it came with a small stuff sack to over come this and to keep the soot out of your pack - but it is not a problem to buy one/make one.

At first this grill may look like a regular ordinary grill that does exactly as is expected, how ever it does more than that, this grill is integral to an enjoyable tasty feast, its power to cook meat in a sumptuous and delectable way astounds me, it was a memorable trans formative experience I will never forget, the sleek design, the color the ease of use.

This is a fantastic bit of kit to have in your camping back pack. Rather than keep using your gas or solid fuel tablets to boil your kettle or cook some food you can put this over your campfire and use that in staid. Its a brilliant idea and will save me some money over the years to come as when we go camping if your there for 2 weeks you get through quite a lot of gas and solid fuel tablets esp when your cooking for 4 people.I would recommend this to any family who go camping. It will also give you a better experience of all sitting round the camp fire and cooking your food and boiling your water on the camp fire. Absolutely brilliant 10/10.Hope this helps.
