Sportneer Reclining Seat for Bleachers

As stated in other reviews, arm rests may want to follow the user to the concession stand; and when put into storage mode, they look like a crib mattress with shoulder straps... I’ll add, I was thinking they’d have hooks under the thigh support to keep them from sliding back on the bleachers (no, they just sit on the bench). In my mind, they were losing stars on the review.I set them up and they actually do just fine. Cushions are cushy but not squishy, feel like they’ll last. The cover has more zippers than a biker’s leather jacket, it stays on the bench pretty well (it's not a recliner, so if you’re looking for that, you’ll want the chair with the hooks holding the front of the bench).Believe me... it’s nice, it’s comfortable, though it’s not exactly a La-Z-Boy. Promise it’s a million times better than these aluminum bleachers it’s sitting on (yes, I’m writing this review as I sit in this seat!)

I purchased these to replace the chairs we had ordered over 3 years ago from Amazon. I believe that the ones I had prior were made by Picnic time. Overall, these chairs serve their purpose, my only gripe is that in the flat position, they don't lock into place. Therefore, they tend to want to return to the folded chair position. The picnic time chairs locked when they were flat and didn't try to collapse when carrying them using the straps. The design of these chairs make them hard to carry or lean up against something when they are in the flat position.

We bought 2 of these as all our kids are in sports. We spend many an evening sitting in uncomfortable bleachers. We had used cheaper pads with straps connecting the back and they weren't that comfortable. If you've got kids in sports, this is probably one of the best investments you can make. Only one annoying thing - be prepared for all the other parents to ask you where you got the chair.Update:We're on our 2nd season and one of the chairs was stuck in the open position. It would no longer collapse. The chairs have a one year warranty so I thought I'd gamble and see if they'd stand behind their product. To my amazement, they sent me instructions for collapsing the chair and when I told them I tried that, they emailed me right back confirming my shipping address. 2 days later, a brand new replacement showed up. It's very rare these days for a company to stand behind their product. I was very impressed.

Pretty comfy. I could not decide if I needed to order wide seats or this standard size. According to the measurements, these do seem quite narrow. But, I am 5'10", 185lbs, and wear a 34" waistline pants, and these chairs were perfect for me. They are pretty comfortable and definitely made sitting on metal bleachers tolerable for long periods. I did find them to be more comfortable when I leaned backwards off the metal bench and rested the chair back against the metal bench behind me. So, I was sitting at an angle, similar to sitting in a recliner. However, you can only use the chairs like this when the stands are not overly crowded. When sitting while they are on a flat surface, they are okay.

Got tired of sitting on those awful aluminum bleachers and these are soo much better. Comfy, easy to use, and we love having the armrests! I didn’t think they’re unusually small, like some people have said. I think possibly the armrests might actually invert (so you don’t have to use them) but if that’s your preference, you should double-check with Sportneer to find out for sure. I watched a video for a similar chair and those were collapsible, perhaps these are too. Love these chairs, only used once so far but they’re a game-changer for son’s soccer games!

Everyone had these types of chairs at the gym and raved about the comfort. I found a bargain in these chairs compared to what I was told was paid for other brands and so far so good. Husband with back surgeries find these are soooo much better than bleachers. Cup holders are big enough for a bottle of water and snacks. Fold flat and do take up space and I can see how walking in a crowd they would be cumbersome but all small non issues really to me. Can’t speak to the longevity but so far so good!

Chairs do not work. One stood up the first time, then I had it go flat and now it will not go back up and stay up. Had 3 different people try, they also could not get it to stay up, totally got ripped off, horrible product do not buy and cannot even return as I have passed my 30 days by a few days. Rip off.

These are seriously pretty fabulous. We sit through so many sports and events on bleachers that I had to find something. These seats are truly comfortable - comfortable enough to get over looking like a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle while carrying it. Everyone asks where we got the chairs. We have now bought 4. They fit everyone great from my size 6 daughter to my 200 pound dad. We have not even really experienced a chair trying to follow us to the concession stand either, and we are not shrinking violets. I completely and totally recommend.

Like the color, fast shipping,and are easy to fold. They are tricky for children to use by themselves. I just hope they be durable enough to last multiple uses. I will edit if not.

Definitely worth every penny.Keeps my back from aching and warm while watching my son play football. Easy to carry

We love our chairs for tournaments. They are really great for those long days in the stands.

Extremely comfortable. The back is secure and the armrests are excellent.
