They are the perfect size for dried fruit
I have bought a dozen of these. Now, I'm buying more. I've had many of them for at least three years and used them frequently. I have always hand washed and none of them have broken, none of them have rusted, the seal fits tightly. They are a little hard to unlatch, so the grand kids can't get into them without help. They used to sell them at Walmart. The ones I bought at Walmart are identical to these. Someone mentioned they aren't Anchor Hocking because the bottom isn't stamped Anchor Hocking. None of mine are, not even the ones I have in a larger size,, so I don't think that is a true sign that they are knockoffs. They are the perfect size for dried fruit, lentils, popcorn, nuts, cornmeal, quinoa, couscous . . .

I received one broken and the company's return policy was good so I gave this 3 star
The jars are the right size, I haven't tried to wash in the dishwasher using them for storage of packets of sugar and already sealed items. I received one broken and the company's return policy was good so I gave this 3 star.It is a nice heavy jar but I am now looking for another set having gotten tired of the handle. It is difficult to close IMO and only closes part way which makes it sometimes pop open while you again work on closing.I have downgraded this review even further...the closer is even worse after awhile. Pops back up 2-3 times before you can finally get the jar closed.

competitive price but 1 of the jars broke
i first bought 2 boxes of 4 each, everything fine. i ordered 1 more box and 1 of the 4 jars broke. makes me wonder how durable the jars are. the ones from The Container Store are the same price per jar but the brand seem to be better as my mother has had them for 10+ years and they’ve endured a lot. these ones i’m not very sure.

Great jars
Perfect set of airtight glass jars. Perfect for storing brown sugar, coffee, chocolate chips or anything that needs storing. Great size as well. These are well made.

Pretty Good
These jars are great for the price, and I don't think you'll find a better deal anywhere. They were also packaged efficiently and appeared to be very secure, but when I opened them most had cracks or chips in the seal portion of the lid. This doesn't really negatively effect them, at least from my experience so far, and you can't tell they are chipped from the exterior when the lid is closed. These are great for holding sugar or flower and look a lot nicer than keeping them in their original boxes.

The Right Size Jar for Fermenting Veggies!
I seem to be the owner of dozens of 1, 2 and 3L jars like this but none to do small batches of fermented veggies like carrots, cauliflower or whatever small veggies I might want to ferment. I've made large batches of sauerkraut and smaller batches of salsa but not small amounts of other fermented foods. I don't want to have more fermented food than I could ever eat so small batches made more sense to me and these jars were just what I was looking for. Very nicely made and I believe they will do what I want them to do.Side note: If you are interested in fermenting any vegetable then consider using large or small glass jars with the rubber gasket and snap closure because this works! More information on how to do this is on the Maine Organic Farmer's Assoc. website (MOFA).

Great quality
I love these jars. They are really good quality and easy to clean. I do remove the rubber gasket before I wash them. I do wash them by hand. They seal really well. The glass is not then so I think that they will stand up to a lot of use. And they look really good on my shelf.

Rubbish and nothing more.
These are quite simply junk. A trip through the dishwasher one time before use and the metal is corroded it not only looks awful but likely will break with very little use. I don't know where the glass was made but the wire used to make the fasteners is of very, very poor quality. Rubbish, absolute rubbisn
