They've been outoors, in Ohio rain, snow, wind, clouds, and sun, for a month. They still look great. On a sunny day they burn brightly for 7 hrs, after a cloudy, rainy day, they only last 2-3 hours but that's enough for me. You can reposition the solar panel in any direction to get maximum sun. I moved a large flower pot to a sunny spot so I could "plant" the solar panel in full sun for a string I hung in a shady spot . Zero electricity, and you never need to turn them on or off. Put them up and forget about them. For me there's a safety bonus, too: lots of graduate students and young adults live nearby, so my normally crime-free neighborhood attracts thieves over winter break. These make it seem like I'm indoors drinking eggnog when I'm not, for a few hours at least. Ho ho ho. I'm bringing them in soon, then back out for the summer flower garden. I'm sharing photos if I can figure out how. Good purchase.

I love these lights, I use them for my ceramic path/garden lights (see the pics) and they are very flexible, charge well, light for a long time (esp. in summer and even in winter with good direct sunlight), and seem to be quite durable/reliable. I do wish they had a few more "mellow" settings (many of the settings are very spazzy), but there are at least a couple that don't go too haywire and give the viewer a seizure. The price has gone up a few times since I originally started buying them (tariffs anyone?) but still a good value for the money. Highly recommend them.

My wife was looking for fairy lights to decorate our deck. But I am not interested to leave the powered lights outside. So, I started looking for a solar powered fairy lights. I found this product after searching in amazon. I felt it’s a good deal. You will get set of four solar powered string lights. My wife was so happy with the warm color. They are not too bright or big. So, my wife used them near a window sitting place as well. She ran them behind a white transparent curtain and stocked the solar panel to window top right corner. They turn on automatically after sunset. These lights have different modes for the light pattern but we liked the steady light more.

Orderd these to wrap around our palm trees in back yard. I guess I didn't read the description well enough, as these are very tiny 'fairy lights', not what I thought I was ordering. Decided to keep and use anyway. They look ok on trees, would like them to be a little brighter. There are several different settings for twinkle patterns, fade, etc to choose from which is a plus. They are EXTREMELY tiny on thin copper wire, so was extra careful when installing them, but nice thing is wire does not show on trees during the day. Light is more of a warm yellow, which I like. Ok after I got installed but wasn't real hopeful when I first ordered.

I love them so far. Working great on our back deck railing. This area does not get a lot of sunlight but so far the lights have been on for the past 3 nights, illuminating fine.

OK quality but lights don't stay on for very long even after a full day of sun.

6 months ago I purchased a 4 pack. I figured they would only last a week based on reviews. I only needed 2 strands so might as well double up and replace as needed. Here we are in December and the first 2 strands I put on the deck railings are still going strong. We keep waiting for them to die and they just won't. Through summer heat and humidity, torrential thunderstorms, hail, snow and freezing rain etc. Anyone want the extra 2 I have sitting on the shelf?

The media could not be loaded.  This is exactly what I am looking for. The lights are so easy to install! I love the fact that I don’t have to worry about the power cord hehehe.. The wire is very thin so it does not mess my view of the balcony or gate during the day. But at night it shines like a million stars. I used 3 of them for my balcony and 1 for my gate. They are very classy and not messy at all. There are so many different mode I am just posting the video of a random selected one.
