I used these bars to build a roof rack for a roof top tent. They are very sturdy extrusions and the price was great. I trimmed mine down 1" with a wood blade on my miter saw. The holes that come in the extrusion is ready to be tapped with m5x.8 threads.

These T-slot beams are high quality. You couldn't get better material from McMaster-Carr (for way more money!). The black anodizing is very well done - these beams are really black, except for the cut ends, which are cut square and polished with no sharp edges.I have used T-slot beams for a number of scientific apparatus, and I plan to use these for a 3D printer frame. This stuff is extremely versatile and looks professional. You can get a set of T-nuts, angle-brackets and screws for less than $10, and the possibilities are endless. You basically have an adult erector set. Pro tip: if the T-nuts don't remain where you place them, wrap them in a layer or two of polyamide tape, and they will rotate or slide into position with a little extra effort, but they will stay there!I use a ban saw or miter box to cut these beams down either square or at a 45-degree angle, depending on what I'm trying to build. Aluminum is very easy to cut cleanly, but to preserve the anodizing, I would recommend wrapping the beam with a piece of masking tape where you plan to cut. This also helps avoid damaging the coating when I slip (which ALWAYS happens).Overall, I would highly recommend these T-slot beams for your 3D printing or mad science needs.

They are ready to take T-nut and M5 bolt combinations. These 2020 extrusions are precision made and they matched up with my existing laser cutter frame perfectly. Once locked in with the proper hardware, they are extremely strong. Plus, as an added bonus, with the black anodized coating, they look really cool and the color matches my laser setup as well. Along with all the various hardware you can get on Amazon, Thingyverse also has several brackets and other related connectors for 2020 extrusions. They have an outstanding T-bracket that suited this project perfectly.I got these to create a gantry over the top of my Ortur LM2 laser cutter/engraver. I plan to attach laser line guides and an observation camera to it. Aside from this project, I would certainly count on these extrusions if I were constructing any type of precision equipment such as lasers, CNC routers, or 3-D printers.All in all these extrusions were precisely what I was looking for, and I will definitely give these serious consideration on my next project that uses them. Walls of the extrusion are substantially thinner than other reputable brands. I compared to Misumi 2020's I have.Otherwise the product is fine. Packaging could be better, one corner of an extrusion came slightly bent.

These are a good option for any project you need aluminum rails for. They are well made and the aluminum feels like a good quality metal, not some cheap knock off. They're very straight and all the openings are machined very accurately. These are a really good option.
