Best sun cream by miles....worth every penny!
We have been using ultrasun since my 12 year old was a baby and none of us burn. It really is a once a day application although I would replenish at some point if you are in and out of the water a lot. My son has sensitive skin to most sun creams but has no issues with this. This size is small enough to travel with so I sent thsee with both the children on school away trips. We have always used the factor 30 family on the children as the factor 50 is very thick. The adults use the sport 20 factor which is a clear liquid and leaves no creamy residue at all. It simply dries on the skin very quickly and you don't know it's there which is great compared to most sun creams. I can't recommend Ultra sun highly enough. Amazing produce and I will never switch brands.

No more hedgehogs!
I never write reviews - who reads this anyway? But since this product has worked so well that I’ve ordered another one I thought I should get the finger out and comment.I have very pale - some would say blue - skin, naturally blonde hair (mother is a ginger) and I’m Scottish. Basically the sunburn trifecta. I can only withstand exactly one minute and forty seconds of direct sunshine before I turn into the proverbial lobster. That’s scientific FACT, measured by actual people who know this stuff, and it ain’t pretty. Luckily my kids have not been born with quite my lack of sun resistance but my poor poor boy is cursed with prickly heat. When it comes on him it looks like I’ve slapped his cheeks raw then punched him with a hedgehog. I fear his teachers suspect that’s what I actually did...Anyways I digress. I asked around my more competent parent friends and one of them recommended this product. She’s organised and clever and her kids do not look like they’ve been assaulted with hedgehogs so despite the eye watering price tag I ordered it. And I must say it’s worked out pretty damn well. Just spent a day at the beach where I would normally be cowering under shade, terrified of exposing an inch of skin lest I be smited with the wroth of sunburn. Trusted in the product and was able to walk around and enjoy the environment like a normal human (as much as you can at the beach, I really do despise sand, it gets everywhere, you spend weeks picking it out of crevices...)I digress. Of course you want to know about the boy’s cheeks. Well I am happy to report that, so far, no evidence of prickly heat beyond one or two marks on his cheeks. Less hedgehog, more...rat tail comb? Anyhoo not gone 100% but many thousand times better than before. In conclusion your honour I have bought more and will again. Hope it works for you too.

One of the best sunscreens for sensitive skin
I am caucasian with fair skin and light hair/eyes, meaning I burn easily. I also have extremely sensitive skin. I've always had problems with sunscreens in the past. They leave my skin white/streaky, they are gross and uncomfortably greasy, or they break my sensitive skin out in a rash. A blog article lead me to ultrasun and I'm so happy they did. Previously I was using ultrasun Extreme Sun Lotion SPF50+ 100 ml, which was great but a bit heavy. I then started reading reviews for ultrasun Family SPF30 and I've got to say the formula is much lighter and easier to apply than it's SPF50+ counterpart. You're also receiving around the same amount of sun protection. With ultrasun Family SPF30 it's smooth to apply, sinks in quickly, doesn't leave me greasy or oily, and best of all NO RASH. It's got great protection and it hardly feels like you're wearing sunscreen. I've always been loyal to ultrasun after my first use and now I'm loyal to ultrasun Family SPF30.

Pleasant to use. No pilling. quite shiny and white cast is there
I have oily skin that can tolerate the oiliness of high PPD sunscreen. My daily sunscreens are either from Bioderma photoderm aquiafluidd or any of La Roche Posay. This ultrasun spf 30 leaves a bit shiny and tacky, but they actually set on my skin after like 20mins. I set it further with translucent powder and my skin looks great. Maybe it gets slightly dewy over like 5 hours, but for the protection it gives, I am ok with it.a lil bit whitecast but I have light skin I can get away with it. No pilling observed, I do use silicone based serum underneath. This ultrasun has thicker texture compared to Bioderma aquafluide and LRP Fluide extreme. These 2 never set on me tho, always oily and I just put powder over them.imo this ultrasun and bioderma photodern max aquafluide spf50 have the same level of white cast.I prefer ultrasun better as it doesn't have avobenzone (I am trying to use newer uv filters when possible) and it doesn't get oily after an hour. Bioderma protects really well but I can't use it near my eyes, but I can with ultrasun. Will update when I use this longer.

V Pricey but great product
V Expensive but has a good consistency, no obvious smell and rubs in well. Used by myself and my nearly 4 year old and doesn't seem to bring her out in a slight rash like the conventional supermarket brands do. Its meant to be once a day application but I do like to apply it again after a few hours - possibly overkill but if we are out all day with not much shade I'd rather my daughter not to burn! Daughter uses this in a solar buddy to hep her apply it herself and it works very well in this. So far no sunburn and no reactions,. Just wish it was cheaper!

Stops prickly heat
Love, love, love this product!Ive suffered with Prickly heat for years & this year after reading some positive reviews I gave the Ultrasun Family a go.I trialled the product here in the Uk during the Heatwave & then took it on holiday with me to Mexico. One word... Wow!!! For the first time in 20 years (after using all kinds of products) I had no sign of Prickly heat. This cream is a life saver. Yes, it may be a little more expensive than other creams but its worth every penny. Once back in stock Ill definitely be purchasing more.Thank you Ultrasun.
