I have used this sort of product for many years on my toes to stop 2 of them rubbing while I’m running. I had used medi-paq a few times before but stopped when they had seemingly changed the spec and I found it wasn’t comfortable as the silicone lining was like having elastic band on your toes.Hallelujah!! I noticed in their ad now it was saying TPR ‘Gel’ lining and indeed it is again and it’s great. Lovely and soft on your toes and I’m now buying some more to keep in the cupboard.

Too big for protecting my little toe which always gets rubbed an sore. A fungal nail has not helped. I like that this is sold in lengths to be cut to size when needed. All good, but too big for my little toe, coming off and lost very quickly.

I have developed a bat habit of pushing down the cuticles on my thumbs and this has caused damage to my thumb nail. With the aid of the gel tube, I am trying to break this habit and this product is helping enormously by providing a barrier and reminding me not to do it. The advantages are that you can cut it to any length you wish. I only needed short pieces, so cut five pieces from the tube. Once in place, it fits very snugly and doesn't move, but at the same time is not restrictive. It washes well and can be reused over and over again. The only disadvantage for me was the thickness. It is quite bulky. However it is doing just what I wanted and I am very pleased. I also have arthritis in my fingers, quite severely, I have had to have a joint replaced in one hand, and a piece cut off this tube is heavenly over the finger joints when they are really painful.

This is actually very nice in most ways. Soft and comfortable, easy to cut to size etc. The problem is it is MASSIVE. Even on my big toe I have had to add a bit of sticky dressing to keep it on otherwise it escapes when you put your socks on. I did go back and check the specs and it does say ideal for big toes and thumbs. I tried it on my thunb - nope just fell straight off. I really don't think that this would fit anyone unless you happen to be Shrek. Having said that, my toe is feeling alot better.

I have a small lump on the joint on my big toe . Every pair of shoes I have tub and are very painful . Putting plasters on didn’t make much difference . These gel tubes are fantastic . I wore some shoes which I previously couldn’t wear , all day yesterday and my toe didn’t hurt at all . Highly recommend these . I shall be buying more .

At first I thought this was a great product, but then my toe started to feel uncomfortable so I stopped using it. About a week later a thick layer of skin came off my toe, leaving it red and feeling quite sore.

Over lockdown I developed a new interest, colouring and the hours I spent gave me a continual blister on my middle finger. I tried various different types of covering and then saw this and figured it would be worth giving it a try. The gel inner stops the elasticated outer from slipping, and I just cut a piece off. No more blisters and the dressing will last for a long time. I’m currently using the 2nd piece but only because I lost the first piece. The benefits of this type of dressing is that it can be removed to wash your hands whereas plasters have to continually be changed. I would definitely recommend this product. I have put it on my toes and it stays in place on all of them as well as my fingers.
