Great headphones, overly bright.
I have been using them for a few hours a day for a few weeks now. After burning these in for around 50 hours here is my conclusion. These are incredibly bright headphones. They are definetly lacking in bass like stated below,if your looking for heavy bass best look else where as you will be let down. The stock buds are basic and I will be buying foam buds as provided ones do not sit well in my ears. They are definetly high res for sure.If you are not used to the sound difference with high res than these can take a while to get used too. These are overly bright for sure. All in all good for the money, they have a few issues but the good out weighs the bad.I have paired these with my Xdp100r. I put my own mmcx cable on.Flac, dsd and 320kbps files sound great. I did get a free bass booster on play store which has made a good difference to these.

With the XDP these sound amazing, although I did purchase some Inairs foam tips ...
I was sceptical about these headphones, but on the basis I’d just purchased a Pioneer XDP-100R I thought the people at Pioneer may have tuned them to work accordingly. I was right. With the XDP these sound amazing, although I did purchase some Inairs foam tips to ensure a really good fit. Once the right fit is achieved then they blow other buds away including my Sennheiser Momentum’s which up until now I had really enjoyed. Good bass, not too overpowering, and clear and crisp mids and highs without being intrusive.Playing 24bit FLAC files through the XDP sound amazing and have me re-purchasing my back catalogue as they sound so good. I also have a set of Sony MDR1000X which are also tremendous, and I would assume be better purely down to physics in terms of driver size / amplifier, but I’m drawn to these Pioneer’s time and time again. Actually, for extended listening periods, I find them more comfortable than the over ears.I haven’t tried them with non-Pioneer sources, but if you have any of their DAP’s, I would highly recommend.

Oops
High quality, but the right earphone kept falling off, and now it fell somewhere and is yet to be found. Is there anywhere I could buy the right earphone only?

Great value performer
For the price a really solid performer. Good strong bass that doesn't overwhelm the other frequencies, and an enjoyable listen. They are very light and I find them very comfortable to wear. I have a lot of earphones, some at far higher price points that don't perform as enjoyably as these do. Highly recommended.
