Happy to report it felt just like the original black ...
My last 3 saddles have all been the Brooks B17. Once in black, the 2nd too were the pre-aged ones. I was worried about moving to this Cambium saddle and had to do a 170km ride on it the first time I used it. Happy to report it felt just like the original black saddle, not quite as subtle as when I first rode the aged saddle, and I am hoping that this Cambium also shapes and gives a tiny but, but it looks amazing, is shaped exactly the same as B17 but without the drop off and certainly looks like it will last longer. It took some heavy rain too and the drying time is very fast. Almost makes no sense to go back to B17 unless you like the more rustic look. Very very impressed and my backside was totally fine after the 170kms. Brooks does it again! My new preferred touring saddle. I would even consider taking this round the world. (also it matches up quite nicely with the BROWN microfibre bar tape).

Your behind will thank you.
After the couple rides I was like, "I don't get what the fuss is about", and it hurt a bit, like a cheap saddle. But then after about the 5th ride - I get it now. This is probably the most comfortable saddle I've used in ten years of cycling. A few pointers though - unlike your typical road saddle, you can expect to tilt the Cambium upwards several degrees for maximum comfort. Mine has a slight upward tilt at I would say 7-8 degrees rather than sitting perfectly level. It also breaks in with several rides. but appears to be quite durable - your behind will thank you, and it looks great to boot.
