Spigen [Neo Hybrid [Gunmetal] Case for Google Pixel 2 XL, Flexible Inner Protection and Reinforced Hard Bumper Frame for Google Pixel 2 XL Case (2017)

Has little grip but it isn't really a problem for me because I know how to hold a phone. Offers excellent protection.Edit: a few months after purchase, I've found that the paint on the edges is rubbing off, giving the case a very worn look which is actually cool. In other news, the case offers excellent protection against drops. I had the phone mounted on a magnetic phone holder in my van and when I opened the door and proceeded to get out, I knocked it off the holder and it fell from the van and landed on the ground after a few bounces. Thankfully, the phone survived scratch free. This case is excellent.

This is a great case. I like the design, it protects well and has a ridge to also protect the glass. Only dues to the curved glass there is a bit of a gap where dust accumulates. But better that than no ridge... It also is not the thinnest. But again, there more protection. I like it.

Really good looking case which wraps around the device perfectly and offers nice protection. It's a bit slippery in the hand and it is a thick case.

Protected from like 300 drops which would have damaged the phone if i didn't have this case, Awesome design.

Feels great, not too bulky and looks really slik, and hopefully it is durable as it looks to be.

Looks good, fits really well as well, obviously gives great protection. The only reason I don't use this case anymore is how wide it makes the phone.I bought it for extra protection because getting a screen replacement for a pixel 2 XL in the UK is not easy, bit it's width makes the phone, in my opinion, too difficult to use. For others, maybe not

Like this case, very durable, have dropped phone numerous times and it's saved it from damage, would recommend.

Didn't want to spend oodles of money on an Otterbox (plus, I didn't want to carry my phone on a clip on my waist), and my friend recommended this.It provides better than basic protection (with a rubber rim so the screen can't touch the ground when I haphazardly drop it on concrete), and it's not bulky at all. In fact, after two years of regular use, it's only now showing signs of real wear and tear at the weak spots (by the buttons).

I had Spigen cases for my two previous phones and loved them, so I was glad to see Spigen offer one for the Pixel 2 XL.Here's what I really like about this case:1) It fits the Pixel 2 XL perfectly. Yet even with its perfect fit, it was not at all difficult to put on my phone, probably in part because the case is fairly flexible, despite the plastic outer edge.2) The back of the case doesn't feel flimsy or paper-thin like some cases. This is especially important for the Pixel 2 XL because the phone's camera lens actually protrudes about 2 mm from back of the phone, so if the case were too thin the camera lens would not be protected. As you can see in the photos, the thickness of the case is greater than the distance the lens protrudes from the phone so the lens stays recessed inside the case. This means that you can set your phone down on a flat surface without worrying that the surface will scratch or damage the lens. The case's thickness also makes the fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone much easier to locate than it is with no case on.3) As you can see from the photos, it is screen protector friendly. I have a tempered glass protector and there is virtually no gap between the protector and the case all the way around the phone (though of course the size of the gap may depend on which screen protector you use).4) It has the perfect amount of grip. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised here because the outer "rim" of the case is plastic which I worried might be slick, but the plastic has just a bit of texture to it which keeps it from slipping in my hands. But the case is also not tacky, so the phone slides easily into my jeans pocket.5) The power and volume buttons on the side of the phone are well protected but easy to find and operate.6) The case does NOT interfere with the squeezable frame (squeezing the sides of the Pixel 2 XL will launch Google Assistant.) (As a side note, the sensitivity of this feature is adjustable in the phone's settings, so if you feel the case does interfere with it you can always make it more sensitive.)7) It is reasonably priced.8) It looks great on the phone: sleek, with a black/gunmetal grey combination, and a few different textures to give it visual interest.In terms of the protection this case affords, I think of three general categories of cell phone cases: "cosmetic" cases that basically protect against scratches, medium-duty cases for everyday protection, and heavy-duty cases for using your phone at a construction site. This case falls squarely in the middle category.Another home run from Spigen!

Mein neues Smartphone ist da. Da ich von Natur aus ein Tollpatsch bin, ist eine solide Hülle für das Google Pixel 2 XL Pflicht. Die Gefahr, dass das teure Gerät womöglich durch meine Ungeschicklichkeit stürzt, ist mir zu groß. Nach kurzer Recherche fiel meine Wahl auf dieses Case. Eine gute Entscheidung, ich würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen!Die Spigen-Hülle ist spitze: Der leicht erhöhte Rand bietet Schutz und sorgt dafür, dass das Gerät beim Bodenkontakt nicht direkt aufschlägt. Auch das Display, das zusätzlich eine Folie bekommen wird, ist so ein wenig mitgeschützt. Das Silikon der Hülle wirk robust, fühlt sich griffig und fest an und trägt nicht zu sehr auf. Dass die Bedienelemente frei bleiben, ist eine Selbstverständlichkeit: Alles bleibt super zugänglich. Das gilt für die drei Knöpfe genauso wie für die Aussparungen für Kamera und Fingerabdrucksensor.Das Case sieht gut aus, erfüllt seinen Zweck voll und ganz und gefällt mir sehr gut. Daher 5 verdiente Sterne.
