6 x Germolene New Skin Liquid Plaster 20ml

This stuff is better than it was years ago, it sticks 10 times better. However price keeps going up now about ,£6.50 each, and I had to buy 6 luckily i had a friend who had 3. But worth it as i couldnt get it from any chemist, due to some ingredient that are in short supply. Its brilliant for bites cuts and split finger tips. Best stuff ever

For me, this product has its niche in protecting and enabling healing of painful lesions that develop sometimes on the dry skin of thumb or fingertips. The alternative of fabric or waterproof plasters does not work and spray applications (which are readily available over the counter) are absolutely useless. Germolene 'New Skin' works really well, but is not easy to come by in the shops for some reason.

I’ve used this for many years since I was a child and my Nan gave me some to cover splits in my skin on my hands due to eczema. 40 years later and I still buy it. It stings initially but lasts a couple of days before peeling off and needing replacement if the cut hadn’t healed. I wouldn’t be without it.

This is a vital first aid item and none of the newer own brands or spray plasters meet this standard. Every house should have this product and we have struggled to buy it during lockdown. Arrived safely and we are pleased with ths.

i use this product for the end of my fingers which often have small but painful cuts. After putting it on, one has to wait a little till it dries and then one can use the hand as normal.

I will start by saying that maybe I rushed into buying this without properly checking the details.What I was expecting:Normal Germolene formula (which I love) as a liquid skin plaster.What I got:Something that smells, looks and feels exactly like nail varnish. And even comes with a disclaimer about not putting it on open cuts. And nowhere does it say that it does what Germolene ointment does. And just to be fair, I actually tried it the way it recommended on the bottle on a scab of my own. All it did was make it fester and it was virtually impossible to remove.Colour me disappointed!

I think this is a great product. So much better than plasters for cuts. You can get your skin wet. It draws out infection. It isn't bulky. It doesn't come off when working

Package arrived and on opening 3 x contents unusable doe to bottles being smashed, contacted seller who then wanted photographic evidence, not ideal when you have just cleaned everything of worksurface and binned the item!!! Would not recommend product due to previous reviews regarding smells like nail polish etc
