Sony 950N1 Extra Bass Wireless Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Headphones - MDRXB950N1/H (Renewed)

I had the older model (XB950B1) which broke so I was looking to get the newer model ones without paying the full price. I was up in the air about getting a pair of refurbished headphones, but the worry went away once I received them. They looked brand new; I wouldn’t have been able to tell they were refurbished if I didn’t already know. They came in the original box and included all items. The sound and fit are better with this model than the previous ones, and they have a nice matte finish around the cups and handles too. There is a small buzzing sound when noise canceling is turned on, but it’s barely noticeable and you can’t hear it when playing music. Shipping was also very fast, I got the item a day before expected delivery! Very satisfied with my purchase.

9/10I was a little sceptacle on buying refurbished headphones, but I have no regrets after recieving these. They came to my doorstep 3 days early. The package included the headphones, charging cable, audio cable, and soft cloth bag to carry everything. I removed a point, because connecting them to my phone's Bluetooth was difficult. I initially tried to connect them as Sony prescribed by pressing the power button for 7 seconds and choosing the headphones on my phone's Bluetooth list. However, nothing showed. It wasn't until I found out about NFC that I was able to connect them. Not sure how I would've connected them if my phone didn't have NFC. They sound great, fairly good noise-cancellation, and they were only $100!

1 word: WOOOOOOW!!!! now i see a few review's saying the noise cancellation doesnt work and the bass does nothing. you have to understand 4 things: people are very picky, expects a product to pwrform like it retails at $12,500, not everyone understands how to work simple technology, & not everyone has common sense. never believe a negative review unless its rapid. THESE HEADPHONES ARE GREAT!!! I DIDNT BELIEVE THE HYPE ABOUT BASS UNTIL I HEARD IT FOR MYSELF. STILL CANT UNDERSTAND HOW THEY DELIVER BASS LIKE THAT. IF YOU LIKE THE HIGHS IN MUSIC: THESE HAVE EM BUT NOT AS MUCH AS BEATS. YOU WONT HEAR EVERY SINGLE HIGH NOTE CRISP AND CLEAR. ITS THERE BUT BEATS ARE BETTER. NOW BASS??? NO HEADPHONES IVE EVER HAD COMES WITHIN A THOUSAND FEET OF THESE. OVER ALL, THESE ARE BETTER THAN ANY BEATS HEADPHONES. AND COmFORT? A PERFECT 10. THE NOISE CANCELLATION WORKS PERFECTLY. DONT EXPECT TO TURN IT ON AND NOT BE ABLE TO HEAR A SAWED OFF SHOTGUN GO OFF BESIDE YOU. THATS WJAT PEOPLE EXPECT BUT THATS JUST NOT HOW IT WORKS. YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO HEAR THE AC, FRIDGE RUNNING, MUSIC AND TALKING AROUND YOU ETC. SO IT DOES ITS JOB. BEATS ARE JUST NOISE REDUCTIVE, THESE ARE WAY BETTER. I LOVE EM SO MUCH I'M GONNA PAY $250 FOR THE NEW ONES IN GREEN. ALSO THERES AN APP FOR EM ALSO. GO TO IT AND PUT THE SOUND SETTING ON "CLUB" FOR EVEN MORE INSANE BASS DROPS.💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

Great but not excellent noice cancelling, by that I mean if you have any music playing at at least more than 20% volume you will not hear anything around you and ambient noises like a computer fan will be totally elimiated with no volume. Beside that its the same sound quality as any other $100 pair of headphones I've tried good but not for audiophiles. I use it around the house and especially in the gym so I can walk around without cords, as far as the bluetooth its one of the best connections I've ever had in the last 4 bluetooth headphones/earbuds I've used.

The product arrived earlier than expected, and was in perfect condition. It came in its original box with all cables and a carrying bag included.This product looks very sturdy, having big cups that encircle my ears, and a gray color that I prefer to its black versions.Noise cancelling works noticeably, and I had to ensure snug fit of cups over ears to notice the difference. Of course, it did not completely erase noise, but it made it sound a little more distant and less direct.You have to actually hold down the power button for about 7 seconds in order for your iPhone to discover it for the first time only. It took me a while to figure it out, and I would have returned it had I not googled how to make the Bluetooth work for the first time. I wish they had an instruction manual included.I would recommend this product, especially at this wonderful price from Secondipity.Also, I have heard terrible reviews about AMZL US, but I must say they beat my expectation on timeliness.I will update here if any of my evaluation changes.

The battery lasts forever. Like....a good week almost. Bass is high quality. Noise cancelation is effective, not the best of the best out there but still really good. Sound quality is pretty good, it could be a tad more clear. It gets very loud at top volume....almost too loud.The body is durable high quality plastic. I dont think you can crack this thing! And there is a metal overhead band, so its very solid. The cusions are surprisingly soft and comfortable.The only bad side is that you HAVE to use NFC to connect. It won't show up as a regular Bluetooth device, so you can't use it for devices that don't have NFC (like a laptop)

UPDATE: upon checking, the warranty wasn't included in the box, beware!------------------------------------Before buying those, I had the older model (MDR-XB950BT). The newer headphones arrived late. They didn’t come in the original package, just the black box, with all the accessories included. The bass out of the box is not to be found (not sure if it’s because the model is refurbished or what). The bass with the “bass boost” button on is a little more present, but no where near the older model. This model works with an app, the app is totally useless for the bass and the noise cancellation (which works very fine by the way). The box it came in had some fingerprints, and a stain on one of the earcups. Overall, am disappointed, still can’t tell if it’s because the model is refurbished, which would have been mentioned if that is the case.
