My favorite colored writing pens
Update: After using the pens a bit more, they've quickly become my favorite writing pens. They're a joy to use. I can't explain why, but the sensation of writing with them is very soothing somehow. They feel good. I love writing in color (as opposed to a black ballpoint pen) because colors make me happy. Colors are full of life.=== Original review (4 stars) ===They work fine. I haven't tried all the colors yet, but so far the colors seem to lean more towards "natural" than "vibrant". I can't comment on how long the pens will last. The pens feel a tiny bit slippery to hold, but not too bad. Compared to a 0.4 Stabilo point 88 pen, they write a bit scratchy on regular note-taking paper. Thickness-wise they fall between the 0.4 Stabilo point 88 pen and the 0.3 of the dual-tip Tombow PlayColor K pens. From another review I knew to expect two duplicate colors (peach, black) - see attached picture of the back of the tin with color codes. The storage tin is in OK condition - but I plan to store my pens differently. For roughly $0.83 per pen the Staedtler fineliners are a decent value. If Stabilo made thin 0.3 pens in lots of colors, I'd buy those instead of Staedtler pens. Unfortunately they don't exist. :( But I've been using Stabilos for about two decades now. So maybe I'm biased. I primarily use them for writing, not drawing.Oh, but I just saw that Stabilos makes a 50-pack of their 0.4 point 88 pens... *drool* I need those in my life! :D

Pro/Artist Grace Tools!
I bought these for a friend because she is using my original set of 20 pens that I purchased 12 years ago (in 2008) while working on my first art degree. Most of my original pens still work like these new ones (I've Dan a couple of pens out of ink). These pens are great quality that lay down brilliant pigment and does not bleed much. These pens have very fine points which are perfect for very detailed work and they are excellent for adult coloring as well as professional use. They were also great tools for many class projects in college and in my classes at the Art Institute of Seattle. I highly recommended these pens!!!

Pens are perfect. Metal box is not.
Staedtler makes the absolute best fineline pens. The colors are true to the color on the pen caps. They color smoothly and blend well. The .3 mm point fills even the tiniest spaces. The only negative is that the metal case is a pain because the pens are in two layers and you need to remove the top tray to get to the bottom one. Their cardboard package is superior because you can both see all the colors and select them with no trouble. I won’t buy the metal case type again.

5 years still work
#1: I have them since May 2019 and I used them regularly since I got them up until the end of 2020. I stopped using them, and I started using them again a month ago, and I am amazed they have not dried up at all. They still work, still pigmented. Definitely recommend.

Perfect Extra Fine Pens
I find it helpful fo have a set of brightly colored extra fine pens for notes, journals or lists. The colors in this set are vibrant. The pens write smoothly. The cap fits well. The triangle shape of the pens structure is very comfortable.

Great color selection
I'm please with the color selection in this set. I'm a little disappointed that they do not come labeled for this price point. I can't see that the quality is any different than other fineliners. My set included two duplicates (peach and black) I guess because it was a 50 set instead of 48, idk, again for price point would expect two different colors. I'm deducting a star because my tin is damaged. While this does not affect the function of the pens, I expect more at this price point. Broken record but I believe you get what you pay for in most cases. I just feel like this brand name fell a little short.

Best fine tip markers ever.
I've been coloring for over 5 years now and honestly these are my favorite markers. Very rarely do I have to throw a marker out because it dried out. They are super fine tip and last for a very long time. They do not bleed through either, UNLESS you get the paper wet (which has unfortunately happened to me before). However I love them and my goal is to own every single color since I use them so much.

Long lasting pen
I’ve owned some of these fine liners for years. I finally bought this large set because I love them so much and use them often. They last a very long time. I use my mine at least 3-4 times a week and still have not had any dry out on me. I use mine mostly for bullet journaling and note taking. They triangular shape makes them comfortable to hold, especially if you are writing for a long time. They write very smoothly and the colors are vibrant.
