Check arbor size — 20mm, NOT 5/8”
For whatever reason, I picked this blade up at Home Depot but it is the same blade. It appears to be high quality, BUT be aware it has a 20 mm arbor bore, whereas most 7 1/4” blades have a 5/8” arbor. This is listed in a table on the back of the package, so it is my fault. However, it is easy to assume that a blade that looks like a normal 7 1/4” is normal in every way. I could not find this info in the Amazon write up, hence this review.A suggestion for the future would be to require items with multiple, variable dimensions to list them. In this case, list diameter, bore, number of teeth & type and max RPM. Also, if it should not be used with a particular device it would fit, say so clearly. There are a lot of jerks like me running around with only a little knowledge, and assuming we do know is dangerous.Fortunately, Amazon sells an adapter bushing by Freud. When it arrives, I’ll use the blade and update this review.
