Windproof and Waterproof - Check
I ordered this product as a result of losing my old softshell jacket made by a familiar name. Most reviews advised that this product was windproof, waterproof and generally warm to wear.I can clarify that the products windproof feature is absolutely amazing. It's as good as my Ski coat. It stops any breeze from getting past the outer shell.I have only been caught in showers and light downpours but it has kept me perfectly dry.The inside has a thin fleece material which keeps me surprisingly warm. I think this is a combination of the fact that no wind will ever get past the outer shell of the coat and so the fleece just keeps you warm.I think the garment looks smart, it's well made and the hood is peaked which makes it very useful. If there's one thing I don't like about the coat is the pocket situation. There are lots of pockets, which is great, but the main pockets ride up the front of the coat, not at the sides which means that I often go to put my hands in my pockets, only to realise that there aren't any pockets to put my hands. There's also a pocket on the back of the coat which seems incredibly pointless. I can't really think of any reason behind why this pocket exists, but it does.Other than that though it's a great product. It's light, the UK size is perfect, it's weatherproof, it looks good, it's easy to compact it to fit in to a rucksack. Perfect for walks, hikes and colder temperatures.

Versatile jacket!
I've been wearing this for over a year now. I'm quite pleased with the jacket. The colour and style are nice, and the material is quite comfy. I've been wearing this in NE Scotland and not one single drop of water got through. It's also windproof, which makes it perfect for those cold winter days when I have to walk to work at 5am.The size is a bit big but I don't mind extra room for sweaters or even smaller jackets. This jacket, even if it's really nice as a waterproof cover, it lacks any kind of thermal insulation. If I wear it in the spring/autumn, I get too warm in it and start sweating. It's not breathable unless you open the underarm zips (which can make it cold very fast or it can let water in). If I wear it on very cold days, it won't help at all to keep me warm, so I need to wear a thick fleece under it.What I really love about the jacket is it's practical versatility: from the fact that you can store your hoodie away by rolling it into the collar, to the multitude of pockets that you can store anything in (and I mean anything!), to the fact that it can be rolled into a burrito and fit your luggage quite easily.Overall, a great purchase. Only next time I'll order 2 sizes smaller, as it's Asian fit.

Not bad but needed a little modification.
Nice jacket. Fits ok. Decent quality except hook and loop cuffs. The velcro on the cuffs is a cheap platic tab that clings to the soft velcro patch. These cuffs were poor from day one and were useless within a few months. Cut them off and inserted some elastic instead.Other than that, it's a nice windproof jacket. Not 100% waterproof, though is water resistant to a point. Fine for the odd shower or a typical Irish summer. Not too breathable but has big pit-zips for humid sweaty weather.Plenty of pocket space. Front pockets are quite high up, presumably to accomodate a waist strap on a backpack. Roomy hood works best with a baseball cap. Hood drawstrings are accessible from inside front pockets, which is a nice addition.

Brilliant but size is too generous
I really like this jacket and it has become the jacket I wear every day. To work, to the shops, walking the dogs etc.It is light enough to not be cumbersome, yet warm enough to wear with just a tshirt underneath on a bright winter's day. Although it isn't wind proof, it does a really good job at keeping a good 90% of the cold out, with a light jumper on you wont notice it at all.Only down side to this jacket is the sizing is off, I normally wear a large, I checked my measurements to make sure I was ordering g the right size and what has arrived would be considered an XL maybe even an XXL at a push. It is no great hardship, the draw cords fix the majority of it, just when ordering maybe think about this. All in all, a nice, comfy, weather resistant (not waterproof, but it will keep you majorly dry in a downpour) jacket.

I like! Yeshimesh.
---Pros---Well made materialFleeced everywhere insideLots of zipsFit is good (went.XL)---Cons---Weatherproof/Showerproof, not waterproof (to be expected as it’s not sealed goretex)Front pockets aren’t very deep so not the best place to put your hands if it’s windy, I’d take gloves with you. There are some zips under the arms that don’t have pockets (just open to breath a bit) and that could cause some water leakage but they are under the arms so probably won’t be a problem. If you are just wearing a t-shirt, you can feel the metal of the zip line which feels a bit strange so wear a jumper or something underneath the jacket.----------------Definitely good to have a base layer or two underneath, there is room. I'm a 40" chest and the XL fits me perfectly, with room for whatever else I wear underneath. Worth the money, feels swag, feels sturdy like it would stand up to a good bit of bad weather, easy to wear over stuff, lots of pockets for your things... I'm keeping mine so yes I like it. If you're sizing is like me (6'1" @ 80kg, 40" chest) Go XL so that when you (eventually) get bigger it will still fit you. It fits like an L and you can make up any room with your baselayers.
