Kenwood A910/12 Trafila Orecchiette Int

It needs a little practice to get this twisting the strands rather than them coming out straight....could be the dryness of the mixture or delivery speed.I used 00 flour from Waitrose, which seems to be necessary for extruded pasta. Ordinary plain flour works fine for flat sheets where the roller is stretching the gluten, but not here. I am following a recipe where you weigh two eggs and add double the flour (bit more than 200g) for two people and beat it into breadcrumbs with the K beater. I am not sure whether it needs to be a smidgen drier. Anyway, it works well enough to get a tasty plate of pasta.

OK, that sound weird but, even if this thing didn't work at all it would be lovely to look at and it's satisfying in the hand. (No, that really is weird!)It comes in its own box, like a piece of jewellery, which is a keeper and, best of all, although it's made for the A910 hugely expensive pasta attachment it also works in my AT936B ( Kenwood Pasta Attachment AT936B - for Kenwood Chef and Major ) which cost the same as this single die did. I'll be buying more - and I shan't be hiding them away!

The product was perfect, however the pasta that it produced was more like a pasta version of the very thick round noodles that you get in japanese\asian cooking than it was spaghetti, but this wasn't because the product was faulty it was just the shape of the dye.

Probably the best dies in the market for domestic use. Works perfectly as they say on the label. I have several of these and I can't find fault with any of them. They are all so well made that they deserve 6 stars!

Disappointing, these pasta inserts are really dear and quite frankly I cannot honestly say the pasta produced is any better than shop bought. at the end of the day there are only 3 ingredients...

Trafila ottima, come tutte le altre ma questa ti permette di creare io bigolo, un tipo di pasta davvero eccellente, ad alta garanzia di soddisfazione per tutti.

Con le trafile al bronzo Kenwood si può (quasi) facilmente farsi la pasta in casa con una moltitudine di formati. Bisogna trovare solo la giusta consistenza dell'impasto, ma con una facile ricerca online non sarà un problema. Da considerare, oltre alla soddisfazione del fai da te, anche il risparmio (circa il 50% rispetto alla pasta del supermercato). Una volta presa la mano, si può tranquillamente impastare e trafilare nel frattempo che l'acqua raggiunge il punto di ebollizione...

Sono contenta del mio acquisto, ottima trafila in bronzo kenwood, arrivata in sua qustodia .
