No hard board like the description says so won't hold it's shape so now off to buy a wicker basket version.

Poor quality folded to tight so would retain its shape when taken out of the packaging. Sent back for a refund

Quite a large stair "basket" for leaving things in on their way up or down. Good quality, with sturdy handles. But it is a little wide for a "normal" small Victorian staircase, possibly blocking the steps too much. Also, it is too floppy unless you put some cardboard boxes/lids inside to help it keep shape (which I have done). But overall it is worth the money.

I read the other reviews saying it collapses and assumed that those reviewers hadn't read the instructions and hadn't ironed it prior to use. Mine arrived completely flat; as everyone's has, and I ironed it with a towel on top as suggested. The creases are stubborn and haven't come out so the top still folds in but it stays upright on the stairs. I'm not overly impressed but it is genuinely a relief having somewhere to put (mostly the kids') stuff which gets left downstairs.
