Got this for when camping with my 2 year old, well she loves it,Walks round with the head torch on, carrying the lantern pretending to be an owl and hooting lol.It’s lovely quality, well built and sturdy.And very cute too.She’s using it loads at home - so will definitely be taken and used camping when the camping season starts.

This is a lovely camping lantern for boys or girls the night light takes three AA batteries that are not included and the head torch is powered by 2 CR2032 batteries that are already installed when it arrives they have easy functional switches on the head torch and the lantern for little fingers the eye lights are very bright on the lantern you can have either the eyes or the lantern lit up but not both together very light weight grandson absolutely loves these and uses them at home as well as camping nice fun items just remember to pack extra batteries with you when camping in case they need replacing

I believe any child, and many adults, would be charmed by this camping lantern in the form of a cartoon-ish owl with glowing eyes. It even comes with a matching head torch! It really is perfect for kids, with a choice of using the eyes like a torch or the body for a diffused light such as you might use to illuminate a tent, bedroom or any other space. It has a loop for hanging and would be perfect not just for camping but also indoors as a nightlight. It’s cute, it’s simple to use, and it’s effective. The only thing that really disappointed me is that it is battery operated (head torch has batteries fitted but they are not included with lantern) rather than charging from a USB port and indeed you also need a small Phillips head screwdriver to open the battery compartment, which actually puts me off using devices. If you wanted to really split hairs, then a timer would be a nice addition, as would an option to have the body and eyes illuminated simultaneously, but these are mostly adult concerns. Any outdoorsy kid woulld absolutely love this.

We absolutely love these! The owl lantern and head torch set is easy to use, excellent quality, lightweight and very cute. Perfect for little hands to hold. The lantern has two settings; it can be lit by the eyes or the body.The strap is great quality and is elasticated so fit both mine and my child’s head. We both loved using it. The owl lantern was used as a nightlight and was very handy when I was searching my dark cupboards too! Look forward to using these on a camping tripThe batteries are in the head torch ready. My granddaughter will be using this great lamp/headlight when we go away camping. I have shown her it working and she's very excited as in the past she just had a horrid looking adult one. The light is nice and bright and it looks fantastic. Takes three aa batteries in torch and the headlight which comes away from lamp takes separate batteries. The headlight which fits around forehead is great for hiking etc. Could also just be used as a nightlight. Overall a great product at a very reasonable price. Recommended

Lovely quality lantern and headlight in a cute owl design. The lantern is lightweight and comfortable for little ones to hold. The headlamp is comfy to wear and both the lantern and headlight have good brightness. This set can be used by the bed side for little ones that fear the dark. It's also perfect for winter evening walks in the dark or tents and camping. My niece and nephew love this set.

Very lovely owl lantern and head torch set, Good quality, nice design, Lightweight and decent brightness.The lantern is portable and easy to use for children. The head torch has an adjustable elasticated head band which is easy and comfortable to wear, the Strap is well made and secure, stays in place nicely.Overall a decent lights at reasonable price.
