Doesn't fit in my drawers!The longer twaddle,After many years of using thin plastic boards i always hankered after a decent wooden board.I spent ages researching then (they are not so cheap) and finally settled on this one.It's large but not that large (it will easily take your Sunday roast), it's quite heavy, chunky and will probably outlast me.I highly recommend you treat it with oil and wax before you use it.Mine arrived with a few imperfections but nothing a bit of sandpaper couldn't cure.It's sits flat on the work surface and actually has a presence of its own in the kitchen now.Once waxed it looks great, guests ask me where i got it from.It absolutely must be treated with oil and/or wax before you use it (hint, buy it at the same time as the board).A pleasure to use after all the thin plastic.You won't be disappointed.

Large, heavy, solid board. I've been using it for a while and no issues. I've applied oil regularly and the wood is really popping out clearly now. Board is in great condition.It's heavy enough that it doesn't move / you don't need to hold it down. Despite vigorous chopping and some steak bashing the board is holding up well. It's large enough that i can slide chopped veg/meat/salad to one side and carry on chopping the next ingredient instead of having to use several bowl to hold ingredients.

The secret compartment had me fooled for a month before I realised.A brilliant piece of wood that works very well as a chopping board and is a good listener too. Stays strong and silent but you can feel the aura of love and support.

This chopping board is beautifully made, nice and heavy and very smooth. There are absolutely no imperfections. I haven’t used it yet but it looks very fit for purpose. Let’s support our small businesses.

I probably wasn't paying attention to the thickness of this when I placed the order; it's a significant item and much heavier than my previous chopping board. It's a bit too heavy for me to easily move one-handed when wanting to get it out to use it or then to clean it. Maybe the one that is 20mm thick would have been better but I now see that one wouldn't have the rounded edges.Seems well put together and the wood graining is nice.

Very substantial board. Looks quality. Strong sturdy hard wearing. Really like it. Bought a 2nd then a further one as a Christmas gift. I hv only one Improvement to be made, however this is me being picky. I'd like to hv recieved the board already oiled. It looks so much nicer. It brings out the grain and colour of the wood. Overall an excellent purchase very happy.

Great chopping board. I bought some food grade oil to treat it with at the same time. I've only had it for a week, but very pleased so far. Time will tell how durable it is.
