Lead Free Solder Wire Sn99.3Cu0.7 with Rosin Core for Electrical Soldering 100g (0.6mm) (100g)

I'm a weekend warier with home projects, and it had been a few years since I had last done soldering. The first thing I noticed was that the bead of solder looked thinner than expected, but maybe that was a good thing because the job went great with no over-soldering of wire joints. The solder came with a rosin core, but after running a test using flux, I decided to complete the project by augmenting the rosin core solder with flux. After soldering 500 wire connections, I can say with confidence that I recommend using flux with your rosin core solder.Acusstom Lead Solder Wire 63-37 worked great for me. The solder flowed quickly, and easily, coated wires from inside to out. Working with the solder was a bit smokey, but I set up a fan which quickly removed any toxic lead clouds.I would recommend this product to people who don't do a lot of soldering, as well as pros.To give you some idea of how much solder your getting: To solder 500 joints I used up a little over one tube of solder bead (of the three that were sold to me).

Works well! this melts and solders easily! I love that this is lead free. There is really nothing better than lead free, and this should be a very basic requirement for all materials that you work with! This seems to be holding really well for our beloved horse shoe statue we have in the front yard. The reality is this - I think it will hold well, but it is still limited by being a solder material instead of a professional weld. As long as you understand the limits of the product, then it is great! There is a ton to love about it, and we are really quite happy! There is also a lot on the spool and it stays nice and neat. No issues here.

I am so done with lead free without flux. I have been soldering for 50 years now and this solder works great just remember to not have your soldering iron over 700 degrees f. 600 - 700 degrees F works best. This solder melts and flows well to make a great soldering joint. Keep your tip clean and re- tin the tip every 25 solder joints. Eutectic 63/37 is the best to use as it sets up into a solid very quickly so you will not have cold soldering joints.

nice size for soldering wires. love the way there's resin in the wires themselves so that I don't have to add flux and get everything messy. heats up at a pretty low temperature too. it's nice that my soldering iron can set the temperature also, that way, I can set my soldering gun at the same temp and not worry about damaging the product that i'm soldering because it was too hot. i'm satisfied with the amount of wire that comes in this package. always better to solder the wires than to twist them together and tape them up. especially if you're working with things that vibrate and move. I mostly use it to wire leds in the car so I definitely need to solder them so that they don't move around and disconnect by accident.

This product came nicely packed that has good protection from shipping. I need to fix something on a pc motherboard and this solder wire work great getting the job done. It's a must-have for all the pc board or small components. Overall, I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it.

The media could not be loaded.  Order this to fix one of my sons remote control toy. The little Wire broke off so wouldn't spin and this lead free Wire worked perfectly. Took me less then five minutes to solder the wire to the motor and voila.It's good that it's lead free so didn't have any unpleasant odor.
