Works well for smaller components. A lot of reviews were are saying this is lead free, it's not. This is leaded solder. I find it easier to work with than lead free.

This is a great set of two spools of solder. It is lead based and has a rosin core which makes it really easy to solder with. It is a great general purpose size ... not too thick and not too thin. I have used it on SMD as well as through hole components successfully. I like that this comes with two 50g spools instead of one 100g spool so I can have one at my solder station and keep one in my emergency/travel soldering kit.

A lot thinner than i ever expected but probably my fault

Ordered this because I Specifically wanted 63/37. Even the picture of the roll says 60/40 if you zoom in on it. Other than that it is a good product. Too much trouble to send it back.

Working great for my DIY project. Goes on smoothly and the small gauge is perfect for soldering PCB components.

Very good fine-wire solder. Apparent melting point is around 450 degrees. Leave zero residue outside of a little flux.
