This was just the added finish look I was seeking. The quality is great and the installation was a snap.

Covers unpainted area
I bought this because the new thermostat was smaller and left a border with old paint color. This is a perfect fix and looks integrated.

This product is listed as white but is not. It is off-white/linen colored.

It didn’t fit
It did not cover the space on the wall that it was supposed to. It did not fit the thermostat that I installed even though it was a Honeywell

This is a good knockoff for the Honeywell original. But, it is not white and in fact has a yellow haze

Not compatible with RTH8560D as stated
This is not compatible with RTH8560D as stated. The opening is too small for the thermostats UWP Mounting System (the wiring box). Furthermore, there are no user instructions at all. I was surprised to see this promoted by Amazon as an accessory for the thermostat that I bought.
