I use it to siphon rain water out of a conduit, so maybe a couple of litres of water each time. Does the job well, seems robust enough for my occasional use.

There's a lot of trash pumps out there but this one seems to be of decent quality. It won't pump cold oil like the more expensive units but it's just fine for home use when warmed up a little. The hose quality is great (although arrives kinked somewhat). For something that you use maybe twice a year you can't go wrong with this one.

With no instructions , I’ve wasted an hour on YouTube with it , and it still isn’t working !

This could not siphon absolutely nothing - Cheap nasty rubbish!

I bought this to syphon some petrol out of my car to fill up my empty scooter during the recent petrol shortage. It was very hard work to get anything out, and although I managed some eventually it took quite a long time to get quite a modest amount across. It did eventually do what I bought it for, but far less conveniently than I had expected.

Bought this to remove some old petrol from a motorcycle tank and pumped it into a container then into the car. It did the job without any issues.It’s well made and feels like it will last the test of time.
