JANSPORTSpring Break Backpacks - Black

Bought it for my son for high school, he is using it every day and he is really happy with it, nothing is falling apart.

I purhcased this bag in Purple Power - looks purple on the images they supply on Amazon Uk. I received my bag promptly, all the tags on it, but mine was more of a fuscia colour! Now, I prefer the colour I got sent so I'm lucky, but if you don't like pinky colours you may be upset. Apart from that, I love my Jansport bag!! I have been showing it off to everyone coz I love it so much! I have had Jansport bags before and they last and last, I only got rid of my last one coz I got bored of it after 5 years, and it was still in fab condition! In fact, they have a 30 year gaurantee!

Ordered this bag and it came the very next day with no hassle!The bag was packaged well however, there were a few dirt marks on the bag and the bag was too small for me.But with that being said the bag itself would be great for little day trips and is a nice simplistic design.

My 4th grader got this for school this year, lightweight, good quality.

Just looking over some of my old purchases. Bought this one in 2011! It is still going strong. It has had a lot of use. It has seen a lot of subway travel, filling in for a large purse if I have to carry something. It has even seen a few vacations. If it is still made the same it is well worth the money. I've gone through several JanSport backpacks but it really does take years to wear them out.It is a good size for me, not too large - I can't lift or carry anything too heavy. The straps are padded and easy to tighten while wearing if necessary.I have also washed it by hand and it turns out great.

I've owned many Jansport backpacks over the years. All have been durable enough to serve as book bags for school. I purchased this one for my son (he's starting fourth grade) and am extremely disappointed. At $30 it should be much more durable, with heavier canvas, better stitching and quality zippers. I wouldn't pay $10 for it.Holding it for five seconds is enough to tell it's not well made. The zippers are sticky to open and close, and they frequently grab the fabric. The canvas is incredibly thin and the stitching looks weak enough to pull apart by hand. There is no way this will last a month as a kid's book bag, much less for an entire school year.I just purchased another off-brand backpack at Walmart that is twice the size, well constructed, and rugged. Jansport has really dropped in quality. Avoid this bag.
