4.5 stars for sure
This story is the perfect addition to a great series. Each addition to this series gets more and more pages and I LOVE that...Ian has not had a great last few years.... he has had to deal with a breakup and some very severe depression. He has a great group of friends and they circled the wagons when it was needed and helped him through to this point where he is now doing better, but he still takes it day by day. Now he is on his commute to his job which is lengthy but he needed to be out of the city to regain his life so he takes the commuter rail ride of over an hour and on this day there is a snow storm so one of the other lines will be getting on their ride. Ian who rides with his friends ends up sitting with a young man. Tris pulls Ian out of his app that he was listening too and makes him social.Tris is dealing with some motion sickness and his seatmate gives him so medicine that helps but also make him fall asleep. They wake him when they get to his stop and he appreciates it. So much so that he keeps a lookout for Ian that night for the ride home. They meet up at the bar till their ride comes in and then they sit together again. For several days they sit together and Ian learns that Tris is 15 years younger than him. He is a robotics specialist that is in demand. He works at jobs all over and lives with a group of like minded people. Or are they? What happens when Tris' current job is over and he has to head to Washington DC for his next assignment? Will Ian and Tris try the long distance? Will Tris not only miss Ian but his dog as well? Will Ian realize that Tris does not care about age? What happens when Ian's ex returns? This book is a big hug. And a special shoot out to the dog that is the same breed as mine... Alusky!Very much looking forward to reading the next installment (I hope) and reading more from this author who before these 4 books I had never read before.

Cute LDR romance
Tris and Ian have a cute slow burn love story. It was a little slow at the beginning but started to pick up about halfway through. I did wish that Ian would’ve stopped referring to Tris just as his friend as he did that until almost the end when they were clearly more than that but it didn’t necessarily detract from the story. Elliot was a wonderful addition to the story and I love that the author took their time with the heavy parts and didn’t glance over what Ian had been through. I absolutely love the friend groups surrounding the main characters and the value they add. This was another great addition to the age gap series.

gift from the snow
A snowstorm that re-routed some commuters from the green line leads to Ian and his friends having to share space with people they don't normally see. Tris winds up in the seat next to Ian and although he says people on the T don't normally talk to one another, they talk to one another. And Ian helps him with some motion sickness and wakes him for his stop. He looks out for Ian and the start of an easy friendship begins. Before they met Ian was thinking love was not in the cards and Tris is not a believer. There is a bit of an age gap but they are similar in needing to come to believe that they can believe that love and true companionship is possible given the lives they are living. Ian is a nurse, Tris travels a lot for the work projects that he takes. Their casual friendship becomes more and then they have to decide with frequent travels can they be more. The hope grows as does their connection and they keep going and find a way to make them work in the ways that are best for each of them. And they communicate. I especially liked the way Tris gets so connected to Elliot. And that they don't rush things by moving in too quickly or brushing aside the moments of doubt or concern each might have at times. Lovely!I received an ARC from GRR and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Meeting Love by Chance!
This was a unique story. I liked the way Ian and Tris met and connected on a train. I could relate as I met a lot of interesting people when I was using a train from Maryland to New York weekly for a job years ago. Ian and Tris are very different guys at slightly different stages in their lives, but they really do click! The story is told from Ian's POV so I will say I was so Happy when we did get a glimpse of Tris's thoughts. Tris was super smart, and I found the robotics stuff very interesting. A very pleasant long distance relationship romance with some hiccups along the way.

A really good read.
Ian and Tris have a serendipitous meeting. They connect even though there is an age gap and they are at different stages of their lives, they work. Great characters and I liked the story! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Enjoyed this story!
I enjoyed this opposites attract/age gap romance. They meet in an unusual way. On a crowed train during wintery weather.Neither is expecting to find romance yet they click on so many levels.Add in a cute, very active dog and Hopeful Hearts will grab your heart. This is a great addition to the Stealing Hearts series.

Awesome story!
Once in awhile, all you need is a feel-good story about finding love amid the chaos of life, and this story certainly fits the bill. Tris and Ian deserve every happily-ever-after coming their way.
