Dyson DC05, DC08 Stair Tool

The verb "to Hoover" must surely pass into the archives. The new buzz-word has to be "to Dyson". The concept of a bagless, high suction carpet cleaner with a 360 deg. ball turning pivot is nothing short of genius. It is so easy to put together, take apart, use and empty, that I, who have never been able to put 'Tab A into slot B' found everything easy to understand and was working within 10 mins of taking it from its case when it arrived from Amazon. The suction is truly amazing, and you can feel it as you move around the room. That feel gives you the confidence to believe it IS working extremely well, and then when you come to empty the container, you can actually see how well it worked. I am a 24 hr carer for my wife, and can only get a lady to clean for me once a fortnight, at present, so I do the dusting, and cleaning in between. The bendy thin tool for getting into small spaces is fantastically good for getting behind the radiators. All in all, I think this cleaner is a wonderful invention: every home should have one!

The product does not fit the original Dyson machine. Do not buy this product.

It doesn't fit my hoover. So disappointed . I have a Dyson DC08. The stair tool doesn't fit my pipe so I can't use it.😔 I have only tapped the star as I have to.

As Expected

i am a disabled elderly person and find the machine is much too heavy for me to use. Had I been able to go to the storeI would not have purchased the machine. My cleaning lady is also small so she finds it rather heavy and quite hardwork. We have not yet used any tools.

Despite claims that it would fit any Dyson it did not fit mine and the seller made no attempt to sort out the problem. In general I find the new Dyson tools to be inferior to the original ones.

I have only used this item once and it appears to be OK, time will tell but I am satisfied with my dyson so I see no reason not to be satisfied with this attachment.
