best gate latch I have ever purchased,fed up with other gate latches I have purchased,ordered another one,price not bad either-only time will tell if they are stainless steel.

It does its purpose, keeping the gate safely locked. The screws that come with the lock were short, I have to replace them with longer ones. It looks good on the gate. I have another one closing to the other direction.

I thought this looked good, and at a good price. When it arrived, I looked at it, through the packaging I felt really angry. The photo I'd seen, and ordered showed one that worked to the right, and this one clearly worked to the left. I requested credit and return. 10 minutes later, I looked again to confirm my findings. Yes, I was right. 10 minutes later, I took it out of the sealed package to discover it is reversible. Just imagine my embarrassment. I cancelled the request for credit and return. Just please don't tell anyone what a fool I can be. After all, I was right the first time - it is really very good and a great price. Thank you very much.
