Convector Heater with Adjustable Thermostat, 2 Kilowatt, 400 x 576 x 122 mm

A brilliant heater!We live in a 1 bed top floor flat. We have 70s storage heaters which are inefficient and not as responsive as we'd like (given that we live in England and we all know how changeable our weather is!!!). SO, given our situation we wanted an alternative to storage heaters. This heater, for less than twenty squids has solved our problem!!!Until recently the people below us ensured we were toasty all the time. However, they have moved out now!!! So no heating underneath us at the moment! :( Despite this, our heater keeps us very toasty even though the temp outside was below 0 the other day. It barely comes on... maybe for one or two hours a day.We mainly use the 750 watt setting which costs us just under 11p per hour which is a small price to pay for comfortable warmth.I have tested the 2000 watt setting for fun, it got very hot very fast in here!!!In conclusion if you have a 1 bed flat or a small area, like a garage, where you need a cheap and effective heating solution, I recommend this heater. It is very simple and very effective.

This is a great little convector heater, it seems to work well, even the thermostat that doesn't work very well on a more expensive convector heater that I bought a few years ago, I would have no hesitation in recommending it.The only let down that I had with the heater (that caused the four star rating, rather than five) was the delivery experience, I thought that the item took too long to reach me and when it did, the box was wet. this did not cause any damage as the product was contained in a polythene bag inside the box, but, had it been bought a gift, it would have been rejected. I was also slightly concerned about the physical size of the item, described as 385 x 535 x 200 mm., actually 425 x 580 x 200 mm. One of my reasons for choosing this heater, was the smaller size of it!

Many convector heaters to choose from on Amazon, ranging in price from £10-£150. After much comparing and reading of the many good reviews about this one I thought maybe, just maybe, I can get from this one for fifteen odd quid the same as one that may cost ten times as much and pressed the order button.It arrived a couple of days later. I plugged it in. The heat was copious and instantaneous. There are indeed three power settings. This heater will can easily handle any good sized room. All it has to do prove its real worth is last a long time. Cannot confirm that at the time of writing as I've only just received it. However it looks and feels promising.There have been a few comments about the difficulty of putting the feet on this heater. I too had that problem. But there is a reason for this and a solution. Here is a TIP : The holes where the screws go have no thread to start with. You have to create your own spiral. Without the feet in place using a screwdriver turn the screws hard to create your threads. There are two for each feet. take these out then screw them back in with the feet in position.Do not think twice about buying this heater. For 15 quid I am sure you get the same (maybe more) than you might for 40 or 50 pound.

Purchased this to heat a chilly bedroom.Item arrived quickly and was easy to put together,feet are quite fiddly but I used Blu-Tak to help put in the screws.Heater is ok but not really powerful enough for my largish room.Very quiet to use,even silent but as with most convector heaters expensive to run and because there is no fan,you don't have that instant heat so it would need to be on for along time to really feel any difference in the temperature.Overall good value for the price but only purchase for a small room.

For this price it is a very good heater. Bought it as it looks like a heater that my family owns since some time so I assumed (correctly) that it will also work fine.If both switches and the knob are on the maximum, it can heat up the temperature in a short time (~15 min gives 15 degrees more for a medium sized room), so it's great when you need to warm up quickly. Smaller settings extend the time, but it's all the matter of user's needs.ATTENTION! I only don't like that it doesn't work constantly (the working cycle is that it heats up, works for some time and then have a break, but starts to warm up soon after), though if I need to have it on during the night, this way of working prevents over-heating (low settings; rotate the knob to the point where I hear a quiet "click"); and it might be that in this way the producer prevents melting of parts. At the beginning I thought it broke just after 1-2 days, but I waited a while and then discovered how it works.Quality of the heater itself is good, you can easily place it on the floor or wall. Cable could be longer. Fast delivery, no damages or missing parts.

Purchased this heater as was what i was looking for, cheap, compact and easy to use.Item arrived promptly so that was good, but when i used it, i noticed that the plug became extreamly hot when on, so much so that you could not remove it from the wall until it cooled down, when the heater was turned off.When removing the plug from the wall it sparked, this happened multiple times.I am in process of returning the item. Do yourself a favor and buy a slightly more expensive model, the old saying is true, you get what you pay for, and in this case, i got a dangerous product that did not work.If it did work, i would be quite happy with it.
