You only need one. There are 2 straps one for each end in the pack

How does the strap attach to the awning?

It doesn't attach to the awning it just passes through between the arms and the canvas. It is a very good product.

Can the seller explain why there no instructions supplied?

Instructions not needed, there is a picture on the box! Should you still be struggling, metal clip into awning slot attached strap to clip other end of strap to spring, spring to peg and adjust.

Will it fit a f80 s awning?

I would imagine so but can’t say for certain. Certainly fine for our F45S awning. It doesn’t fit on to anything, just loops over the arms.
