Well made and working admirably
I buy surge protected extension leads whenever I am going to be connecting sensitive electronic devices (TV, PC etc) because the risk to those devices is greater with a sudden electrical spike.Don't worry I am not about to get all geeky and explain why these are good for devices like the above! :)Now, for most of us nowadays, we have more devices than plug sockets available when it comes to the television and associated devices. In my case there is this little lot...Television, Sky box (other brands are available), Blu-ray player (yes I am officially old), Fire Stick, Soundbar, Subwoofer (for soundbar). All that and 2 sockets? Yep extension lead is needed!Extension leads are safe, as long as the combined load of the devices in use does not exceed 13 amps (standard safe load on a single plug socket) and thankfully most modern electronic devices do not draw much current (which gives the load). In my case this lot won't exceed 13 amps - unless of course I did something completely daft like plug an iron on to the extension lead and use it at the same time! :)There is not a lot more to add really. It is clearly well made by a known and respected brand, which considering the value of the attached equipment is important to me.In summary, if you need an extension lead for lots of items - probably the same use as mine - then you won't go wrong with this one.

Great Product
Be aware - I needed 8 plugs hence my purchase of this product - but I failed to realise that not all my plugs are the same size one of the plugs is much larger than all the other and it covers the opposite socket so much so I can not use the eighth socket - but as this fits the space I have I can live with 7 I am happy to say this is a great product but keep this in mind

Good Value (at £14.29) - Beware if Using Plug-top Power Supplies
Paid £14.29 which seems good value, works well. If you have a lot of plug-top power supplies you may be better off with a single row of sockets as it may not be possible to plug in two of these opposite each other depending on the cable orientation of the plug-top power supply.

IT DOES WHAT IT SAYS on THE LABEL *****
This remote ''on / off'' invention, is FANTASTIC !! Your television, lamps, heating fan, cooling fan, KETTLE !! the list is endless. When they are plugged into this special device, you can turn them on and off from the comfort of your BED !! This includes devices in the NEXT ROOM, or even DOWNSTAIRS. Remote will '''reach'' electric appliances up to NINETY FEET AWAY. I am so keen on this astonishing device, this it the SECOND ONE I'VE BOUGHT, as a standby, just in case (heaven forfend !!) something should go wrong with the FIRST ONE I bought. Which, bye the bye, has worked perfectly for three years !!! II wrote an excellent review on this marvellous product, which AMAZON REFUSED TO POST., as t didn't follow THE GUIDELINES apparently. Well, Amazon, you are as THICK AS THREE SHORT PLANKS nailed together. and THAT is my review of YOU !!!

It's a surge protector extension lead
This extension lead does NOT have surge protection for TV aerial, phone, network, etc. It does NOT have USB charging sockets. It does NOT have "intelligent" sockets that turn on/off automatically, or remote control sockets, or switched sockets. In fact, the only thing it has is 8 sockets and surge protection. But - that's fine, that's why I bought this one.It is a lot cheaper than the other 8 way extensions (which may have all the extras, but if you don't need them, then why pay for them?)The only 'bad' thing about this is that it will only really take normal plugs (not plugin transformers) without "losing" sockets, as the sockets are very close together. Some other multi-way extensions have a couple of swivelling sockets so you can plug in big transformers, but this doesn't (probably to save money). So, make sure that what you want to plug in will actually fit. In my case I wanted to plug in 8 normal plugs, and nothing else, so it was perfect!

ENough Sockets
I needed a surge protected extension lead with at least 6 sockets and was flat so I could tie it behind the TV on the wall, most of the extension leads out there are tower blocks which are to chunky to hide behind a TV. This works great. Used zip ties to mount it to the wall bracket. and then the TV ontop. The lead is long enough to reach the socket at the bottom of the wall. Good stuff

Great if you've standard plugs
I bought this with the intention of using it in my home office. It is working as designed; however, my only criticism is they could have done with a bit of space between each socket. There's barely any gap between the sockets directly across from each other. This means, any oversized plug, which is sadly more common than not, is going to have a difficult time. This means it's no longer a matter of plugging the plug into a free slot, but rather planning out a blueprint of what goes where so you can use the maximum amount of plugs. This product has the potential of being, not 8, but 4 if you even slightly oversized plugs. For me it was grand, I was able to only lose out on one plug, but it would definitely be a problem if I put it in the room with the television.
