Comfortable highly visible helmet with a great visor!
Since I purchased this helmet a few weeks ago, I have logged more than 150 miles on my bike, wearing this helmet in a variety of conditions. Initially, I was most concerned about the additional weight in this helmet due to the electronics and batteries that it has, but due to the comfort, styling and weight distribution, I can barely tell a difference from my previous non-electronic helmet. The pairing of the turn signal remote to the helmet is simple and reliable. The remote works easily with a single press, and the turn signal tone is easily audible even in High wind situations.Perhaps the best feature that I was surprised how much I liked is the flip down clear visor. Even though I wear typically close fitting, wraparound sunglasses, I would often find that my eyes would water due to the wind and dust. With the visor down, however, I have not experienced any watering from my eyes and if there’s road dust or insects, the visor easily handled them. I have not tried the visor in rain situations.I found that the sizing guide was accurate for me and that the helmet fitting instructions included in the package were helpful in getting the best fit.Overall, I am very impressed with his helmet, and although it is a bit pricey, if you want to enhance your visibility, safety and clearly illuminate your turn directions and presence, this is the helmet for you.

Good helmet but shield design could be improved
Great helmet but shield drafts wind and rain underneath and into eyes

Pain to pair with remote, but works great now.
I had to reach out to support via email, but they got back to me quickly with remote pairing instructions. Turn signals are great and the face shield did a great job of keeping gnats and mosquitos out of my eyes for rides at dusk. It's comfortable and I'm not worried about tan lines on my bald head, but I purchased a helmet liner anyway.

Visor was broken when removed from box
When I took it out of the box, the visor's attachment to the helmet was broken on both sides. As shown in this photo, the visor's tiny plastic "anchors" are small tabs under the helmet's outer shell that had simply torn through the shell. The design is doomed to fail. In my case, it failed when I unpacked it, not when I was on the road, which would have represented a serious safety problem. Giro knows how to make helmets - they should be ashamed that they have put their name on this product and marketed it, thereby endangering the health of anyone who tries to wear it.

Good, but for the price I expected more.
I have two major issues with this helmet, that I feel are unacceptable especially considering the price. The visor isn't very adjustable. As designed you have to have it all the way down (or up) to see clearly. In my case when its all the way down its sitting uncomfortably on the bridge of my nose. It leaves me with a safety concern too, If I were to crash, would the visor break my nose or break against my face? The second issue for me is that discomfort of the under chin strap against my skin. Little (maybe nothing?) has been done to make it comfortable to wear. I have a much less expensive helmet with a very comfortable strap. If the two issues above aren't a problem for you, I'd say I'm happy with this helmet otherwise and like the integrated lighting.

Super nice
A little heavier than I had anticipated but not even close to being a deal breaker. High quality build. Lights are way brighter than I had thought they would be. It looks great and feels great. Love the magnetic catch/latch on the chin strap.

Nice helmet but visor is cheap
expensive helmet with a visor that works great in the rain. however, the visor broke after only a few months. it also scratches easily. Hopefully, the company has a good warranty
