Kids Travel Car Seat Fun Play & Snack Desk with Cup Holder, White

I searched High and Low for this product and kept finding the soft sided trays that are sold in stores like Buy Buy Baby etc. Most people purchase these soft side trays out of fear of their children being injured in a car accident, but they can rest assured this tray really is safe and once using this tray they will realize that it really truly is a safe option. Not to mention the soft sided trays are not practical or as useful as this tray. After we found out we were moving across the country and knew we would be traveling for 4 full days on the road, our 2 year old needed something to be able to color, play, eat etc on. I have been in my friends car and saw the use of the soft sided tray and I feel as though I can honestly review this as a better product.Here are the following reasons I like this product:-Strap goes behind car seat and can stay in place when tray is not attached making for easy attachment at a later time.-Tray sits on elevated edges of carseat and provides plenty of space away from their belly and legs so their movement does not affect it's use.-Has elevated lip on the edges to prevent crayons, puzzle pieces etc from sliding or rolling off.-Has a cup holder for a drink when they are having a snack on the road.-If in an accident the clips holding the tray in place can break away.-No sharp edges.-Strap is adjustable.-Tray is actually hard and sturdy decreasing the frustration of your child.-perfect for any activity for your childHere are a few of my tips to make use of this product the easiest and to decrease the frustration when you are traveling:-Install the strap to go through the area where the seat belt runs through for installation of the seat in the car (in the lumbar region) so the strap exits on the exterior portions of the seat so it can wrap around the outside of the seat and doesn't actually wrap around your child. Doing this is the safest installation of this product and keeps the tray able to be strapped in tightly and with the most stability during use. (placing the straps here make it very easy to detach and reattach tray while traveling.-Keep one side of the tray attached to the strap when not in use so it's even more easily put back in place when needed.-Do a trial run of the product before your trip so you get a feel for putting it on and taking it off while on the road-this will minimize your frustration, and also you will be reassured of it's safety.-make sure you get a sippy cup that can fit in the cup holderI will be purchasing a second one for our second child once he moves into a convertible seat.

I bought this product for the road.back to Canada from North Carolina. Going there, it was a pain to fed snacks to my son who kept dropping them. Also, it made it a lot easier to draw then using his knees. The cup holder is wonderful for his drinks.and.for putting crayons in so they don't roll everywhere. It fit pretty good on our seats arm rests even though they are on the short side. I would definitely buy this again. I almost forgot, it was pretty useful to block the sun from the side window. Since it's flat, it fit perfectly between the car door and the seat. The only issue I have with using this, is crash safety. If we crash, this thing doesn't collapse. I need to do more research before using it again. Any constructive feedback to my comment is welcomed if you have useful information for me.

This tray is working wonderfully for our toddler. It has made my solo 3-hour-drives much more manageable. Of course, in a perfect world our toddler sleeps during this trip, but when he is awake, I have a bag of toys in the front seat of the car that I can hand back to him. Putting toys on the tray works much better than doing a hand-off with him. He rolls his cars on the tray, and they don't fall off unless they are launched off. Occasionally the Hotwheels are small enough to be knocked off the tray and into his lap, but he has enough arm room to reach down and retrieve them with a little effort. His blocks have a place to sit. He lays the "Farmer Says Toy" on the tray and doesn't have to balance it on his lap (or drop it). He loves the tray so much that when he sees it in the seat next to him, he immediately wants it to be on his lap. Once the tray strap is installed behind the car seat, it can be unclipped from both sides for complete removal.A few things to consider:**The tray sits at the angle of the car seat, so this is not a completely level surface.**The tray's cup holder fits inside the cup holder in the Graco 4-Ever car seat, but this makes the tray sit slightly to the side.**The cup holder is not big enough for most of our sippy cups to fit in it well.**On the rare occasion that my toddler decides that he doesn't want the tray attached, it is impossible to remove the tray while driving.We are very happy with this purchase. It is worth the slightly higher expense over other types of trays. I wish I had bought it sooner when I first found it online.

We had planned Florida road trip in December 2013 for which we purchased it. As such item arrived on time (the only good thing about it), but it's no where close to what it says. It's a joke to say the least. It doesn't fit our car seat at all. We never realized that it's not sold by Amazon themselves but the seller. The return process was time consuming and most of all, it's not free. We ended up losing ~9$ for nothing. I wish I could give zero stars rating for this product but there is no option. Lesson learnt, never buy things in amazon which are not sold by them. Their (Amazon's) return process is excellent.

I researched several of these before buying this one. It is basically just a piece of plastic that sits on top of your carseat/stroller. If the arms of your car seat aren't level, it will sit at an angle. I wouldn't advise using it if you had anything that was too messy or turns over easily because if your child hits it with their legs at all, you're going to have a huge mess! It would be better if it had some kind of padding on the bottom to help level it out. For the price we paid, we will definitely get our money's worth out of it!
