No more crib worries!!
I've walked in on my 8 month old daughter's arms and legs stuck in the crib rails enough to know that crib bumpers and/or padding is ABSOLUTELY necessary. Now that she's all over the place, rolling both ways, turning herself around and almost crawling, she was constantly hitting her head on the rails and I've come in to her crying because her chunky little thigh was stuck! I loved the look of the bumper braid, but it looked too chunky and is wayyy too expensive. Then there's the breathable mesh bumpers, absolutely no padding at all! Sure she won't get stuck anymore with that but if she hits her head it's still going to hurt! So I'm very happy I decided on this particular brand and style, it's padded enough to where she won't hurt herself if she bangs into the rails and the full coverage insures she won't get stuck anymore. I can stop worrying about her in the crib now, thank God.

Great purchase!
I know that crib bumpers are frowned upon because of the risk of SIDS. However, when my 5 month old started to roll/crawl around in his crib at night he would bump his head and get his limbs caught between the crib slats. He went from an all night sleeper, to waking up crying. I had to do something. I purchased this crib bumper because it was slim/lightly padded. There seemed to be less risk in it being a suffocation hazard because of this. I did have to make some modifications when tying it to the crib, as the front and sides of my crib are sloped. Not a big deal. I've been using them for 3 months now. They wash/dry very well and will be used until my little one can stand/use them to crawl out of the crib. I would recommend them to anyone!Update: I’ve been using these for almost a year. They have been washed and dried countless times and still look great. Since my little one can now stand, he likes to chew on the front of his crib railing. I have now folded one of the bumpers and tied it across the front rail. Problem solved! Great purchase.

Does an amazing job but hard to set it up on our crib
My little one started to roll over a while ago and his feet always got stuck between rails which was waking him up in the middle of the night. He was also hitting his head. It was nerve wracking for my husband and I and we had to constantly check the monitor to see if he wasn't sleeping too close to the rails. This bumper does the amazing job. It is breathable (we checked it ourselves covering our faces with the bumper to see if we could breathe through it.) and it has good amount of cushion. Since we bought this, my LO has been sleeping pretty well through the night and we don't have to worry about it anymore! However, I'm taking one star out because it doesn't quite fit the crib we have. The rails of the corner of our crib are thick (see the attached photo) and it is hard to tie the strings.

I absolutely love these bumpers
I absolutely love these bumpers! I was very hesitant to buy any crib bumpers as there is always the risk of suffocation but my little one would move so much in her sleep and hit her head against the crib and start screaming. She would always wake up at least 4 times screaming because of this. Well the first night we used them she only woke up once to eat. These are very light weight and breathable yet still protects my little one from hurting herself. I highly recommend these!

Returned, fell apart.
I like this bumper better than the mesh one we had. This one lays straighter. However, I could hardly wedge this bumper between the mattress and the crib slats. It's extremely tight. I dread changing the sheet. There's no way the mattress is coming out of there without removing the bumpers first. I also wish the ties were longer. It's not easy to tie all of those! It does match my crib skirt perfectly (same brand) that I bought last year from this company. The pink is a coral pink, not a traditional baby or powder pink. After washing in my front loader just twice, one of the pieces came unsewn and fell apart.

They shrink after you wash them! Ties are too short
I ordered the grey colored bumpers for my son’s crib, when they showed up they were a weird taupe color. I washed them on gentle in cold water and dryer them on delicate with cold air before putting them on. They shrank anyway! They were too short to reach the end of the crib. The ties are not long enough to tie a bow. I had to figure out a way to tie them to each other and weave them through the crib posts. I don’t think that they are worth the 30 bucks we paid. Unfortunately, these are the only “breathable” bumpers on Amazon that aren’t mesh netting. I guess I’ll keep them after I spent 1.5 hours figuring a way to make them fit on the crib. Not looking forward to when I have to wash them, and do it all over again.

Does not work with a solid back crib
I some how managed to miss the fact that this would not work on a crib with a solid back. It comes in 4 separate pieces. The side pieces don't have anything to attach to on a crib with a solid back side. There are strings on both ends of each piece, that you tie onto the crib itself. If you don't have a solid back, this would work just fine. I was never able to use it so I'm not sure how well it works once it is attached. However, it looked like something I definitely would've kept if it was meant for the crib I have.

The short panels have only two ties at either ends ...
The short panels have only two ties at either ends. No ties in the middle on short panels ,so the short panels sags already .
