Better than expected (including customer support)
I already have a Perixx 407 (non backlit) but needed a small keyboard with backlight. The original one has given good service an no problems. The 411 is by far the best price for a backlit keyboard not specifically for gaming (which i did not want it for) and given the good service of the 407 I decided to give the 411 a try. It arrived promptly from Amazon. I was concerned that Amazon do not use any packaging for these items simply putting the delivery label on the manufacturers display box. However there didn't seem to be a problem with that as the unit was undamaged. I was delighted to find the keyboard even better than the 407 with a nicer, quieter key action and altogether more rigid Manufacturing quality seems excellent. The back light works well and the extra usb port is a bonus. Easy plug and play set up. At one third the price of the nearest rival (which was not well reviewed ) this is great value and a pleasure to use.UPDATE: Bought in January the keyboard developed a fault in October. I contacted Perixx who responded very quickly and helped diagnose a possible fault. They then replaced the keyboard immediately free of charge. This customer service is exceptionally good and I am sure the fault is very rare and could even attributable to my system (though the replacement works fine). I have always found this an excellent device and coupled with the service I received, I would very much recommend Perixx keyboards and the 411 in particular if a backlit one is required.

Worth the money. Fulfills a specific purpose. It helps if you aren't afraid of keyboard construction.
Delivered quick - well packaged - cheap. Ticks those boxes. For me I wanted an #illuminated# kbd for my workstation in a dark corner so i can work early mornings without turning the lights on.I wanted a #slim# kbd like a laptop that almost mimics my laptops own layout - fewer missed keys and nice light touch key feel.I wanted a kbd #narrow# enough to fit my fave chair with arms - on my lap.I got everything I wanted!Cheap is not always cheerful so it loses a star because quality is a bit borderline (i have had to re-seat one key cap and lubricate another with silicone spray). and the chassis is plastic and a bit wibbly wobbly in shape. BUT I've been hammering away since I got it without a problem. So what's not to like?Plus I like supporting brands that make a genuine effort (rather than some mainstream brands who apparently don't).

Excellent small and good feel to keys.
The media could not be loaded. Firstly when the packaging arrived I was a little concerned as it had a cheap look about it. However, I need not have worried as the keyboard is excellent being compact as promised and very light. My only complaint is that the back lighting leaks from below the keys and at the position I type I can see the LEDs that are under the keyboard. If lower this wouldn't be an issue but still not a 5*.The keyboard is indeed UK and the hidden USB port on the left is excellent and handy for those USB stick moments. It does take a while to adjust to the number pad being absent as I am used to typing only on the left 2/3 of the keyboard. But the excellent feel and quality finish is top notch. There are 4 light settings and the light can be turned off if wanted.

It does a weird thing..
This keyboard was almost perfect. Small, white backlights, wired, neat and tidy, full size ENTER key and backspace etc. BUT IT DOES THIS THING. If you hold a key, to press another key i.e capital letters, if you lift off the shift key before lifting off the letter it will act like a new command, printing another lower case letter like this (Hhello Ii would like to buy Gglasgow please Ttimothy!!1) If you lift up the LETTER before the SHIFT key, you can get around it, but I've been typing for 20 years so I cant really unlearn it. You can imagine the problems this could cause in game, but it's got to be worse for typing in my experience. I wish I could fix it because I love everything else about this keyboard. :(

Good little keyboard.
Good little key board. But it says it has 5 stages of brightness for the keyboard. It doesn't really, I'd say it has 3 low, medium and bright. I wouldn't count off as a stage. Apart from that being misleading it's a good keyboard, I use it for typing not gaming.

Decent keyboard
Trouble is that it's quite expensive but it's definitely worth the expense. Bought the full size one a while ago for £24.99 and the small one for £17.99 more recently. They are both really good with really nice feeling keys. It's durable too, I've spilled so many things on mine and all you have to do is unplug it, rinse it under the tap, wait for it to dry for a couple of days then plug it back in and it's all good. It's also super thin, meaning that you don't need a wrist rest and it looks pretty nice too. In my opinion it's better than the Apple keyboard, it's got more travel and more height at the back. The backlight isn't that strong though; the keys aren't very transparent so they block most of the light. I'd also like to have volume control. The USB port on the hub is upside down which isn't amazing but it's a product of the design of the insides.

Lights didn't power off in my windows 10 pc until registry amended
The lights bleed around the buttons as i don't sit exactly above the board it's worst on the top. Im using windows 10 and the lights won't switch off when pc shuts down like my last board. Therefore I had to go into the registry and create a PnPcapability line to allow windows to turn the power off to the board. It is quiet so now my daughter can type without much noise. Not sure it worth £20 lighting is poor quality.

Just did not realise how good this would be
The mini keyboard as my partner complains about the size on coffee table. My desktop has a wireless keyboard for the mouse control. This keyboard is very quiet compare to the other wireless keyboard, so for software developers this is brilliant(dictation typist 80 WPM) will want the larger desktop versionYou MUST have the keyboard support feet extended or you will just see LED when you lean backNo doubt someone will want a way to turn the LEDS off, on this 411 keyboard that FN+F10 key press ,not F12 as the downloadable user manual says on page 7. The keyboard F10 has an etching for brightness,There are four rotating background LED brightness setting 50%,75%, 100%, 0%(off)
