I was a joiner for ten years before changing career ...
I was a joiner for ten years before changing career. I can see tiny faults which would be unnoticed by the unpractised eye. However I also know just how much work and skill goes into making what I think is a 99.9%% job. There marginal room for improvement though. There are holes drilled inside the cupboards for a shelf. The holes are only 25mm apart. why bother drilling 3 holes? Divide the space in half or divide it into 3... allowing for the thickness of the shelf of course. the drawers are a simple wood-only design... not much to go wrong, when proper allowance is made for movement as it has been. doors and drawers fit very well with a penny gap all round. I think the use of insulation board, not cheap polystyrene sheets, would improve your profile with customers. The delivery men were very friendly and helpful, unpacking it and positioning it for me as i am no longer capable. Yes it is a lot of money but for me, who doesn't often shell out close to £400 for anything, it was - IS - money VERY well spent. Whoever the team is who built it, THANK YOU.

Fantastic sideboard fabulous service!
Fantastic! This sideboard is gorgeous- solid oak and a wonderful addition to our dining room. It's the perfect size, big without being too bulky. The service I received from oak furniture king was second to none. Seriously I don't think I can remember receiving such excellent service this century. If we had visited a shop it would not have been as easy as this was - ordered it Tuesday was with me on Friday at the time stated on my text. OFK sent me an email separately after I ordered and provided me with a name and contact number and asked me to liaise directly with them. I found this really reassuring and cannot praise them enough. It's amazing really, I've had issues ordering something minor like a pair of yoga socks online so I was a bit worried about ordering something so big and solid. I needn't have worried.

Excellent from point of order to delivery, so impressed, will certainly use Oak Furniture King again when we have a need.Oak solid and excellent quality, all packaged perfectly, no damage. Fitted wellinto our lounge. Delivered earliest advised date early morning, very polite and helpful delivery men, placed the cabinet in required room. We took time before deciding what we would buy wanted solid oak not the pale imitation comparisons, felt excellent price and quality.
