Replacement Guage
Replacement for old dial gauge that doesn't work any more. Used on tyre inflator and happy with its accuracy and simple use. Be careful when fitting, as any twist of the gauge body could cause damage as plastic in construction (guage connector is metal).

Well worth the money
The media could not be loaded. My original analogue guage was totally useless. It used to read up or down. Never anywhere near the correct pressures. I calibrated it and it lasted 1 use before going out again.I saw this one in Amazon for cheaper than most analogue pumps so gave it a try. It comes in a nice box with instructions. I removed the old analogue guage and binned it, then screwed in this new digital guage. Remember to use PTFE tape on the threads and if the guage doesn't sit where you want it when it's tight, use more PTFE tape. Never overtighten anything to do air compressors as the parts are prone to cracking.Inserted batteries and the unit came on right away. I blew up an old spare wheel to 36 psi (see video, bad quality but I'm stuck in the corner of the garage holding the phone and blowing up a tyre, so deal with it). I then put a calibrated digital guage and a calibrated analogue guage and both read the same within a few decimal points, which is to be expected as you'll always lose some air when you connect to the tyre valve.Overall I'm really happy with my purchase and I think it's a great price too.

Accurate to within 1 x PSI in two tests on two separate four court digital pumps
Seemingly accurate to within 1 x PSI after two tests on two separate four-court digital pumps. This might also be explained by temperature differentials and the minor air loss you get when connecting/disconnecting the pump. I run good tyres and new valves, so air loss tends to be minimal. Used as a replacement with my compressor at home. Good enough so I can do the usual weekend checks in confidence before hitting the road during the week.I deducted one star as the unit that came had no protective plastic for the face of the unit. The face had numerous micro-scratches. Whilst it might have been technically new, it had the look of being a shelf model or shop soiled. This is the only reason I deducted a star.

Very clear to read!
I purchased this to replace my old needle type gauge on my air compressor in my garage. The needle type had been dropped and the glass cover broken. This digital gauge is clearer, brighter and much more accurate than the old one. Simple to use and read. Excellent product!

Missing the battery metal tabs from factori so can not be used

Not as good as it could have been
This item arrived rattling around in a box that was too big for it with no batteries and no instructions. Fortunately operation is very simple and a test with a known pressure of 20 PSI showed it to be accurate. Problems for me arose when I slowly raised pressure from nothing, the gauge read zero until the pressure reached 4 PSI. Likewise if pressure is falling it reads down to 4 PSI then drops immediately to zero. If this is not a problem for you then it will probably be OK but the spec should really be 4-60 PSI.

0-15psi - what mine does
It's unclear how low these gauges read and whether they turn off etc. So here's what mine does:Below 2psi: turn it off and on and it reads 0.00Above 2psi: turn it off and on and you get the correct reading. After some secs the backlight goes off, but it continues displaying the pressure for more than 10 mins.It appears to measure low pressures (<0.5psi) as long as you don't use the on/off button below 2psi.Can't tell if it's supposed to work this way but it's fine for my use now I know not to turn the backlight back on.I also have the 0-60psi gauge and that does turn itself off after about 2 mins.
